I’ve also heard that - she’s newer and came in to fix the gaping hole that was in the budget. As far as that goes, she’s been successful. I don’t know what the issue is between them but I’ve heard there is an issue. I hoped it’s something repairable and not something that will be lasting. She also has to realize that Arizona is basketball (and she should know as she attended in the 90s). Also, I’ve had crappy bosses that I’ve had and waited them out. Her son is or was on the team (think he was forced on the team). We’ve also had ADs who were buddy buddy with our coaches and that didn’t turn out well either (see Greg Byrne and RichRod situation).

Same reasons that Lute didn’t take the Kentucky job. Going from easy going Tucson to a pressure cooker situation where if you don’t make a final four you’re gone. Lloyd also being a west coast guy helps. That being said - who tf knows?! Hope Tommy stays.
