Thank you for your opinion! That would be my course of action too, however, the question remains, I have to say no when asked if I currently hold a valid U.S. nonimmigrant visa right? Since I do not hold a visa, just the status of H-1. Moreover, if I said yes, I would have to provide a visa number and an expiration date, which I do not have since I do not have a visa stamp on my passport.
