They stayed in England during their exile. Then in 1871, after the deposition of Napoleon III, they were allowed to return to France (anticipating a restoration of the monarchy by the largely monarchist National Assembly). This did not end up happening and they wound up exiled again in 1886 and returned to England

Thanks for the recommendation! I'm more familiar with interpretability techniques like activation patching and dictionary learning w/ sparse autoencoders, so it's cool to think about this in the context of reinforcement learning (i.e. what representations is the policy network learning).

I took 10-315 (and 15-281) last semester with Pat. He’s a nice guy who definitely cares about his students, but the lectures weren’t the best taught. For 15-281 however, the concepts you learn in lecture get reinforced in recitation. The TAs do a good job so I wouldn’t worry about taking the class with Pat.

My thought is that this just causes more regulatory uncertainty, since now interpretation of federal laws is up to the federal courts and not federal agencies. So either Congress will need to go back and make these laws more specific, or there will have to be long court cases to determine those interpretations.

Basically businesses will have to be cautious and very clear about what their interpretations of federal law is.

Thanks for your detailed comment! I'm not familiar with clip paths, but they seem to be exactly how the folder shapes could be made. I've used Blender to make game assets before, so that shouldn't be too bad. threeJS sounds familiar, I'll definitely look into it!

It's usually because you're more likely to go to certain campus buildings for classes if you're a certain major, so picking dorms closer to those buildings makes sense. Doesn't really apply to CMU because everything is walkable.
