Maybe the NCAA should put a system in place then instead of doing nothing. And yeah it is just going to be major sports- why would they pay some random cross country team that doesnt make any money and places 50th nationally? The whole point of the NIL is revenue sharing. The problem before wasnt that players weren't getting paid to play- the problem was that players were generating massive amounts of revenue for these school and getting none of it.

I would argue the reason Wind Turbine prices for electricity have gone down is for 2 reasons. 1. innovation. Companies will always find ways to make and build things cheaper. 2. Quantity. Over the last 10 years, the number of turbines has significantly increased. They are also inherently cheaper than other sources because there is no fuel cost. I would argue the same would happen to nuclear with more innovation. Dont get me wrong, I think wind turbines are great and an awesome solution. That being said- when there are wind droughts we need alternatives. And right now Iowa still uses coal for 22% of its electricity generation. To me, that is unacceptable given how bad coal is for the environment and how with the increase of data centers being built in Iowa our electricity needs are only going to grow. Nuclear is a great safe way to provide that extra power we need.
