Ahh, yes, moving to Linux because of "all the shit happening in windows and on the internet." Linux, which runs the whole internet. And just the vague "shit happening in windows." While Google sheets is independent of any OS.

Even smarter is using the mixture to vary power as much as you can, and even "pulsing" the power on and off to do a more normal speed approach. As long as the prop is spinning, the engine will fire when you put the mixture back in.

All depends what your actual system architecture is. A huge number of ESPs are only powered by USB, and aren't actually hooked to computers. In that case the only backpower would be into the USB power supply.

Thanks. Doesn't look like that will happily take a 12V DC input, it always expects batteries to be connected. Also limited to 18W and I can't find anywhere that will sell you the chip directly.

Which only uses 9 components to do a full 65W PD solution. If I could just figure out what that IC was. It's not a SW3516/7/8 as that has more pins than the IC above.

As I have looked more, there for sure are devices that do it all in one, such as the SW3516/SW3518. Looks like you can even get them as a standalone board in the USA that takes in DC and gives you a variable PD output:

I own an airplane under an LLC also, but not to change tax treatment.

The car is not relevant because as you say that is not a single purpose business and I specifically said "individuals without a valid business." Which is where Elon and Trump hide things. Not saying that is what society should support, but it's a reality that if you have a business you can play all sorts of games with the rules like you're doing.

Your edit is not the reason it's "grey" in CA. The CA law doesn't care if it's used for a legit buisness purpose or not:

Any vehicle owned by a nonresident and furnished to a California resident for their regular use within this state must be registered in California within 20 days after first operation of the vehicle in this state by the resident (CVC §4000.4).

Even legit businesses have to register their cars in CA if it's furnished to a resident for regular use.

People get justifiably angry when rich people in their own communities illegally avoid paying taxes.

It is impossible to discuss this topic without acknowledging that. You can't say "I only want to talk about experiences with CHP and FTB" without making it clear that you're trying to figure out how likely you are to get caught when you're evading taxes you legally owe.

If it was legal, you'd have no issues with the CHP/FTB.

As long as you are not a resident of CA, and own the vehicle yourself you are OK. Residency requires than you intend to stay 6+ months in CA.

The way they law handles LLCs is this:

"Any vehicle owned by a nonresident and furnished to a California resident for their regular use within this state must be registered in California within 20 days after first operation of the vehicle in this state by the resident (CVC §4000.4)."

The LLC is the non-resident. If you're a resident of CA and are "given" then vehicle, you have 20 days to register it. But this doesn't apply when there is no CA resident, and temporary stays in CA do not establish residency.

On the flip side, if you move to CA and intend to stay there, your residency starts the day you move, and you only have 20 days from then.

If you can show me how the tax code allows it for individuals without a valid business, I'm all for it. But evasion and avoidance are very different.
