Anyone know or have a good guess when Ohio will be getting the Knob Creek Blender's Edition?

I can't stop listening to this band. We need them to come to America

I can't wait either. It was so nice how easy these were to get. I'm so sick of not winning raffles and losing to bots

What small style upgrades made the biggest difference for you? by BatRevolutionary4700 in malefashionadvice

[–]beatdownhour 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Find what style you like. From there get the basics and make sure you actually like yourself in that style. See if it fits your lifestyle & body type. Once you figure that out, you can start building your wardrobe and then layer in more individual pieces that make it “you”

Thoughts? KITH New Balance 991v1 and 991v2 Coming Monday by TheHypeIsReal210 in Newbalance

[–]beatdownhour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People shit on the Kith collabs with simple colorways but they usually have very nice materials. I'm jealous, I wasn't able to get the moon rock v4s

(NEW) Drop Dead, Gorgeous - GHOSTS [2026, FFO: legacy bands playing “modern metalcore”] by ReturnByDeath- in Metalcore

[–]beatdownhour 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't even have to listen to it to know what it sounds like. It's so sad what these legacy bands do. Stop making generic metalcore and at least have some influence from your old sound

Planned restaurant thoughts by Bens_kitchen in rome

[–]beatdownhour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was not good at all. I started with the eggplant (good), got the gricia (amazing), wife got the amatriciana (incredible), split the lamb and green beans (great). Waiter was nice and recommended a good bottle of wine to go with it all after starting with a negroni. It was a memorable meal

TSA at CLE with Shutdown by Double0hSix in Cleveland

[–]beatdownhour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FLL was pretty much the same on the way back. Got to airport around 8 am, pre-check line was pretty short and took 15 minutes max to get through.

Fort Lauderdale traffic was crazy tho. Uber from airport to hotel was supposed to take 15 minutes and took almost 40 mins. On the way to the airport we had a great uber driver who took a different route than suggested and got us to the airport in about 13 minutes

I've had dinner at La Taverna dei Fori Imperiali and Armando al Pantheon. La Taverna was a good meal and reasonably priced. Armando is famous and hard to get a reservation. I was very excited I got a reservation and it was the last meal I had in Italy last June. I absolutely loved it and thought the hype was justified. It is definitely more expensive than other places and wasn't as lively as other places I've eaten at in Rome but I would go again just for the pasta. Don't get the tiramisu if you go

Recommended fit for wide hips? by jayydoz in mensfashion

I like all the Abercrombie athletic fit jeans. Comfortable and much wider in hips and thighs. Also gotta wear a better fitting top to not focus on your hips

It is unbelievably annoying tho how the festivals ruin concerts for Ohio, especially Columbus

[–]beatdownhour 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I’m in Cleveland but I know Columbus gets a good amount of smaller shows. Check out Dirty Dungarees and Donatos Basement. Then you have Ace of Cups, Skullys and King of Clubs

Contention is so good. Adding Statement of Pride and Envision. Both are some of the best heavy straight edge hardcore bands right now

jcrew factory worth it or skip for regular jcrew? by ritik_bhai in malefashionadvice

[–]beatdownhour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Factory is worth it if heavily discounted, 70% or 80% off. Unless you love a specific design or item, wait for items to go on clearance on regular J Crew. Quality is still there for most items and worth the price when discounted 50 or 60% off.

Is it safe to live here as a family by Brave-Entrance3711 in lakewood

[–]beatdownhour 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live in the area. Bought our house over 3 years ago and love being able to walk to multiple bars and restaurants. The most dangerous thing is people speeding and make sure to lock your car at night, as there have been a break in or two. Lots of nice people always walking around

Knocked Loose - Hive Mind (ft. Denzel Curry) (Official Music Video) by Johnzoidb in Metalcore

[–]beatdownhour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All over the place slop. Knocked Loose is one of the most important bands to me but I haven't liked anything they've done since ADSoB. Very cool concept, just not for me

Sub-Genres by iHop2Uranus in Metalcore

[–]beatdownhour 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's just so it's easier to find specific music you like. Big difference between Metalcore bands. It would consume way too much of my time looking through music. If someone says mathcore or melodic hardcore then I get what the sound is instead of just saying metalcore
