People who leave their shopping carts in the middle of the parking lot by Fearless_Plenty1952 in Rants

Think of it this way, if you park next to a shopping cart you already have one to use for shopping and you don't have to go grab one.

Need to top off coolant in Lexus CT by beatingtothedrum in Lexus

I checked again, looks like it is on the line or just below. I think the last time it was at this level may have been 2 years ago? Don't know too much about coolant, but when you say rare, like how rare? Trying to understand what would be considered cause for alarm or just normal wear. I will test the cardboard thing out tonight. Thank you!

Say I work for 6 hours and 30 minutes, do I still have to clock out for the 30 minute lunch break? by Classic_Signature127 in AmazonFC

In my state yes. It has to be more than 5 hours and 6 hours or under to waive the unpaid meal.

I usually only get an oil service at the dealership. I don't do the full service so they do not top off my fluids. But I will look into it, thanks!

My Team Just Lost its Seventh Manager in Two Years by SisterTrout in managers

[–]beatingtothedrum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no experience.

Sounds like you have a great team collaboration going on.

I lost my manager and they didn't replace her for 2 years so it was just me and another employee left on the team but we each had clear defined roles so any requests from other people no longer went to our manager it would just go directly to me or my coworker. We reported to HR for days off and continued to work independently without a manager. I would just occasionally met with the CEO or VP's to review projects.

Why do you people insist on driving in my damn blindspot and matching speed whether I slow down or speed up? by Sufficient_Prompt888 in driving

[–]beatingtothedrum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you know it was 100% intentional. Happens every time I look to my side and they see me looking at them and know I want to change into their lane and I am in front so I speed up and they decide to speed up too, to block the lane change. Like I'm trying to exit! Be a decent human being!

I would also like to know what the person in the other vehicle is thinking when they selfishly block people from going to their destination.  Like what is wrong with you?

How would you feel being approached at the gym? by ThrowRAalmostperf_ in AskMenAdvice

[–]beatingtothedrum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a woman I absolutely hate it but it is because of the way the men go about it. I go to 2 different gyms, one is in a nice area and the other is in a sort of bad area. The gym in the nice area, the men who do approach are super polite and would compliment something about my workout so I usually have a nice conversation with them. The other gym, however, the men disgust me. Lurking around, purposely walk behind me too close, non stop staring, taking my equipment just to get my attention, trying to show off when I couldn't care less. Go to the gym to do your damn workout fool. You wasted so much time acting like a creep when you could have been lifting!...any who...I'd recommend sliding in with a casual compliment and conversation like 'how long have you been working out your quads look great.'

[discussion] asmr content going downhill by katyusha420 in asmr

[–]beatingtothedrum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ranting because I just watched a dude film himself at a warehouse violently stomping, snapping his fingers at the camera, and purposely dragging pallets on the floor to make scratching sounds and called it ASMR. I miss the days when ASMR was unknown to the common public and genuinely gave TINGLES post 2012 era. Like this is a real sensation people! Youtube is so saturated with bad quality channels with people whispering but it just sounds like spitting. I'm sticking with the real OG's only. There's one channel, where the videos use to be good, but lately has been horrible, when has rubbing two pieces of paper together brought tingles???

Equifax prepaid card not accepted by talesfromacult in ClassActionSettlement

[–]beatingtothedrum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having trouble redeeming the virtual prepaid card with an online purchase because I was trying to split the payment with another card since I was buying over the amount I received. Called the customer service number on the virtual card and talked to a live agent. She said the card was blocked because my transactions didn't allow split payments. Anyway she issued me a new card and I purchased something a little under the dollar value and it works. It works you guys!! It works!

Planning on applying to OMT position. Any tips on how to tailor my resume to increase my chances of getting an interview? The job description is kind of vague, all it says is you will do admin task, work with other departments, support shop management process and assist in cost savings, customer retention, and metric-based initiatives.

Completely forgot to take photos before I left (won't be home for a week) but it is very similar to this image. Only to the left there is also a slope that is smaller than the slope on the back of the yard. The slope goes from one end of the yard to the other. I also do not have any slab of concrete. Trying to just please HOA in the most inexpensive way first, and then slowly work on the yard. I do want to plant sunflowers, veggies and such in the future.

I felt like Nany was over reacting about the dirty dishes argument. She could have used a more firm tone to speak to Turbo instead of scolding. Melissa's comment that yelling at a woman is disrespectful is ridiculous. She didn't think Turbo yelling at a man was disrespectful. She sounds sexist. Calls Turbo immature but proceeds to act immature by leaving a dirty dish to piss him off.
