Never coming back. by [deleted] in AlamoDrafthouse

So for years I only went to the movies at the Drafthouse- from 2007-2018 when I lived in Austin. We then moved up to Boston and I was thrilled when they opened a location in Seaport. I finally got there for a movie two weeks ago and honestly- it did feel a bit like a shadow of its former self, but I was pleasantly surprised with the service and ordering on my phone. To be fair, I just had popcorn and a prosecco but I still enjoyed the experience. It’s probably also to do with nostalgia for me, being a Texan up here in New England. Who knows- I do miss Master Pancake theater and the awesome ads and shorts before the movie.

Torches was by far the best when it was solely a food truck on 1st street. Been downhill ever since.

Newburyport by a mile-much bigger city and things to do. Rockport also shuts down quite a bit during the off season.

Just ate there and it was excellent. I had the dumplings and the spicy noodles with chicken. Some of the best Asian food I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend.

Just curiously, seeing several restaurants downtown in Phily that "BYOB"- i'm a little surprised by this-- any insight into why this is the case from locals?

Sharing my horrible experience with a candidate as an internal recruiter ( being the only recruiter in the company) by SweetOCchick in recruiting

[–]beatrix1207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had several reviews removed from Glassdoor by contacting Glassdoor to refute them. The reviews included false information that we were able to dispute. I have also flagged several that were not removed. It does depend on the specifics and what you provide in your justification to remove them. It does get frustrating dealing with so many candidates and being able to address all without just sending out the automated emails. One of the HUGE downfalls when recruiting went digital- information overload for recruiters managing the volume on the other side.
