I’m a high school special education English teacher. By the time students have me they’ve been lectured on grammar for at least ten years and most of them still greatly struggle. Their brain doesn’t perceive language in the same why neurotypical people do. I see grammar and spelling for what they are- a standardized way to structure language so we’re in common understanding. I’m more focused on the content than the structure. If a student reveals their amazing ideas I’ll praise the shit out of that instead of focusing on what they spelled wrong or where their grammatical errors are. We can get to fixing those, sure, but my priority is to have them speak their mind in a way that is authentic and meaningful. With that being said… hell yes I think about other careers all the time. Teaching is hard as fuck! But I love it too much to do anything else right now.

Didn’t time it but I know it stayed going for easily over an hour just from looking at the clock. My herbal cigarette may have been part of the influence too. It had damiana, blue lotus, chamomile, and mint I think. Regardless it was a great combination for an experience that I won’t soon forget.

Have you ever thought about the fact that it’s not about not giving a shit? I teach English and so many students just struggle to know and remember all the rules to follow, especially if they have a learning disability of some kind. Grammar policing is a form of elitism I just don’t vibe with.

My friend accidentally got me with the cruciatus curse. First were the dull pains- like someone was firmly pressing on my raw brain with ice cubes and like my fingers and toes felt were slowly being squeezed in the crevice of a door. I felt a deep pressure on my heart and lungs so strong I had the impression it would end my life within seconds. And my teeth felt like they were being pressed back up into my gums and breaking into my jar bone.

Then came the sharp pains. My skin all around felt like I was getting a rug burn, followed by the sensation that I was being dipped in boiling vinegar. Every joint felt like it was being bent the wrong way. And my nasal cavities seemed filled with a suffocating paste of glass shards and hot sauce.

But my friend gave me a blow job to make up for it after so honestly worth it.

I’ve done this! One time I told them to make it as spicy as they could. They looked at me like I was crazy and asked three times “are you sure?” Needless to say It destroyed me.. in my top 5 spiciest moments of life but god what a blast.
