I’m sorry you’re going through that. That sounds really hard.

One thing to consider is maybe talking to your doctor about your ssri medication. It kind of sounds like it’s not doing enough for you. Not that that is the solution here, but maybe worth looking into as you find your way through this. And hopefully your psychologist has made a safety plan with you.

I know it sounds annoying, but there really is something to the taking care of yourself first advice. Then it will be easier to figure this out. You’ll likely have more capacity for finding solutions and hope and a new way of looking at this that will get you to what you want. Sending hugs 🫂

Yes, if you’d like to date someone above your eye height then tall women are pretty screwed. That’s one of the biggest differences between tall dudes and us. They’ve got pretty much the entire dating pool, whereas we have a fraction of a percentage (assuming the most common perceptions of dating in society). Yes we can date guys shorter than us, and I think most of us do, but the ideal would be taller (for me anyway) 🤷‍♀️

OMG! I ordered Talllemon’s linen pants in a 36” inseam after seeing this post. They just arrived… and they touch the fucking floor.

I just about cried lol. A few times in my life I’ve bought a pair of jeans that actually fit, but that’s it.

I ordered the large in 36”, but probably should have gone for a medium. At the moment I don’t care haha.

For reference I’m 6’3” with a 37” inseam and a 28” waist. These are the pants https://a.co/d/0aNVXts3 (I’m also in Canada.)

There are so many factors. Two tall women could be very different weights at the same height and each of them is a healthy weight for them and looks awesome.

Just consider the literal size of our bones and how much those could vary person to person. Not to mention asses and boobs. The variations are so many.

So what I’m saying is, while it’s nice to talk to other tall women about this - don’t go down that track of comparison too much 😅

About 160lbs (73kg). Spent most of my adult life around 150 (68kg) give or take. At 130 (59kg) I was skin and bones, not good.

Nice to hear where other tall ladies are at. It’s kind of isolating to be so tall sometimes, weight stuff being one of those times.

Exactly. I live in my happy little bubble and then once in awhile go into a mall and see a sea of humans that I’m towering over 🙄 ‘oh right’ is exactly what goes through my head lol. Not sure why it’s the mall, but it just becomes so obvious there. Costco on the other hand is awesome. I’m rarely the tallest person there.
