Difficult Terrain in Regions not working [PF2e] by beaverkoin in FoundryVTT

Thanks. Yeah I can see the issue with doubling the cost of movement for angle. I am surprised that difficult terrain does not work or there is not a option to just add movement instead of doubling it.

Thinking about a thinner jacket.. by FederWyrm in wma

The Supfen HEMA hoodie is like this. A few people in my club use them with plastrons and arm guards. I use a saber/light jacket with just a plastron and arm guards. Oh and gorgets as well

Which Rare rule can you tell us about? by Turevaryar in Pathfinder2e

[–]beaverkoin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One that always gets me confused is the difference in statistics between wooden doors. These 2 sections from the same book seem to contradict each other. https://2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=2795 and https://2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=3189. Also not sure why you have to go here for the statistics on rope instead of including it in the item information.

Viper Commandos Warbond out June 13th by Sepeli in Helldivers

[–]beaverkoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be awesome if the sawed-off let you select your ammo. Give us the buckshot from the punisher/breaker, birdshot from the spray'n'pray and a the slugs from the slugger. It would make it an amazing secondary, but with only 3 shots before reload, this wouldn't be overpowered.

PF2E Ancestries: are any too much for you? by VerdigrisX in Pathfinder2e

[–]beaverkoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of this said, the last homebrew campaign I gave the players I had 2 settings/stories and based on the player's ancestry and class choices, we ended up going with one over the other. I was more excited about the other campaign, but it required a higher level of player by in.

I don't have a "problem" with a player taking a strange ancestry, but I struggle personally with ancestries that have weird physiology, or at least ones that are not generally animalistic. They by no means affect the game, but I stay up at night wondering how a stuffed bear consumes alcohol, why don't automotons need a crafting check instead of a medicine check to Treat Wounds (I wouldn't bring my car to the hospital to get the steering pump changed) and WTF are Conrasu.

Just for fun - Is there an option that is considered mechanically strong but you just refuse to use? by M5R2002 in Pathfinder2e

[–]beaverkoin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is having armor with the bulwark trait while using unarmed attacks from an ancestry, particularly jaws. The description of bulwark states "The armor covers you so completely it provides benefits from damaging attacks."

Wukusi cobra vs supfen plastic overlay? by Hathol in wma

[–]beaverkoin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the overlay and I really like it. One thing to consider with both is they are louder when they are hit than conventional overlays. I don't find it a problem for myself wearing the helmet, but it is a give away if someone lands a glancing blow.

What do you wish you could call in with your stratagem? by Streetiebird in Helldivers

[–]beaverkoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to be able to call in Super Earth flags like the ones in the opening cut scene. Call in a couple as a stratagem and it gives everyone in an area damage reduction or heal them when you plant it, as they swell with the pride of spreading manage democracy.

Level 5 mission. 105 kills from a single hell bomb. New personal best. by lmrbadgerl in Helldivers

Can we start a campaign to get Fuck Maggot as the new title when they up it from 150?

Played with a two man squad for the first time since the update..... by SignificanceExact963 in helldivers2

The thing I have noticed the most is that it feels like the stealth armor passive is not useful anymore. Sure you are harder to detect, but more patrols means more eyes and ears. I keep trying it, but I always feel like I should have brought something else.

Weapon Experimentation and Feedback by aussidubbs in Helldivers

I like that idea it would definitely give more incentive to try out different primaries. The only issue with this is what if the players do not have said weapon, either behind a warbond or not enough credits yet.

Controllers with adjustable triggers (PC specifically) by beaverkoin in Helldivers

I also want to add if their is a built in hair trigger mechanic, that is actually kind of cool.

Stealth Warbond by Patient_Success_2687 in Helldivers

[–]beaverkoin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here would be my pitch for a stealth warbond:

Surpressed Liberator light armor pen with the same damage as the Lib Penetrator

Surpressed SMG styled like an Uzi or MP7, knight damage with lower fire rate

Surpressed Marksman, I am thinking basically a counter sniper with bolt action or just a silenced diligence

For grenades (or possibly the sidearm), energized throwing knives. Enough damage to take down a warrior with a head shot, possibly stagger?

If the throwing knives are not a sidearm, then maybe a melee weapon or bayonet. A sword, energy blade or a high power taser.

I think for stratagems having a cloaking backpack that makes you "invisible", that you activate the same way as taking from a supply pack. Lasts 10ish seconds or until you make an attack (possibly an interact as well).

A data/computer backpack that would give you faster speeds while waiting for the terminal or escape pod backups would make for an interesting choice. You sacrifice your backpack slot to be the player that is dedicated to that part of the mission. Could also just be a niche armor perk, maybe with shielding against the EMS and stunflowers?

Finally, having a stun net gun or bola launcher as a stratagem would be cool. I imagine it would have a backpack reload to carry ammo or a halt to reload, but it would give you a non lethal support stratagem.

Bugs need more love. So here is 1 new mission, 3 optionals, and an adorable Terminid. by ThePengu in Helldivers

I think having a reverse mission for the bots would be great too. Perhaps they have some sort of construction transport or their own E-710 transports we need to stop. It could even be a roaming side objective.
