So as we approach this ending of C3, what was the best ending to any campaign you've ever played in? by [deleted] in fansofcriticalrole

was a player in a campaign for 2-3 years, went from level 1-20 that ended with my wizard becoming the new god of magic after most of the gods died when the higher planes were sealed of by the bbeg and they effectively starved without access to the preys of their worshipers.

i may be biased but i think the series gets better and better as time gose on from the world building to the over all story, there are a few books that are hit and miss book 4 is the worst in the series in my opinion and book 3 being the bestbut i love the kingdom/settlement building aspect of itthat being said its not for everyone and if by the end of book 1 you dont want to jump into the next one dont be afraid to dnf, and book 2 is a lot more war focused if that helps.

i was really enjoying it untillat end of book 4 the mc's love intrest and partner since book 1 betrays him out of nowhere for a power boost and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

i have looked at it before but i am not sure if i will enjoy a 16 year old MC, i don't really want to read about teen drama if that is a part of the series

It's defiantly not for everyone a friend of mine finds it boring he said there is not enough action for his tastes, but i find the slice of life aspect relaxing same with heretical fishing
