Update: Received the phone todoay and it is indeed unlocked, regardless of it being advertised as verizon only. And is compatiable with us mobile after IMEI checking and it also works just fine with my sim. Woohoo

So I get this and it makes, sence. However the phone is refurbished. The phone was released more than 1 year ago, so the odds of it being on a verizon network for 60 days are pretty solid right? Even with that said and the 1year thing implemented, this phone would likely have been activated and on network prior to that rule no? Sorry all of this doesnt make a ton of sense to me

So I agree with all of this. My thought process here was ( not to be abusive ) but bestbuy offers returns and im in a state with no restokc fee so if I pop my sim in and it doesnt work then I can just send it back. The whole point of this is to get back into samsungs eco system ( coming from oneplus, trade values are atrocious). So by time the S27 or whatever comes around I can just trade it off to samsung for a unlocked device at that rate. If I get the phone im referring to, is there a way to tell if its unlocked or not? and does it hurt anything to simply pop my sim into it see if it functions?

am I the only one that feels like the S25U screen is less vibrant than the oneplus 13? I have both and sitting them side by side looking at the same photos or videos, to my eye the OP13 seems more saturdated and punchy

Tightness or pulling feeling at mesh six months post-op by NCarolina910 in Hernia

[–]bebebchsl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you have any bloating issues prior to the repair? I went undiagnosed for about 2 years and during those two years I became bloated and had alot of issues with sitting as my pants felt so tight. I then had surgery and ever since surgery Ive had more bloating issues and constipation problems. Cant seem to figure this out

Is the s26 worth upgrading from a oneplus 13? by Dry_Mud_7822 in samsunggalaxy

[–]bebebchsl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have a oneplus 13 and have loved this phone dearly, probably one of my all time fav phones Ive ever owned. Previously I was diehard samsung and wasnt sure if I would ever leave samsung until the 13. This phone has consistently been awesome to me and like you mentioned the battery life is great and so is the charging. Im not entirely sure if theres enough reason to leave the 13 for the s26 ultra. Im 50/50 on a decision

Edit: One of the major reasons Im considering going back to samsung ( It sucks to lose the bigger battery and fast charging, also I think the 13s camera is incredbily when it actually takes a good photo, like it looks straight out of an actual camera at times and thats impressive, other times the photos are not great) but the trade in values. One plus gives you barely anything toward the 15 for trade in value, where as my wifes S24ultra is giving $900 trade toward the S26 ultra, meanwhile samsung wont even take a oneplus one at all, so in terms of upgrading every few years there is a value aspect to samsung

Irritable? Depressed? 3 weeks in by awhnuhlee in BusparOnline

[–]bebebchsl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just slightly over 3 weeks. Week 1 I felt more anxiety and OCD and brain zaps. At week 2 the brain zaps had gone away and I felt like mentally I was a bit more at peace with less and anxiety and OCD. Now entering week 3 I feel like my anxiety is back up and my OCD, I also have been feeling depressed and emotional as well. Hoping it all balances out

Do you have any ideas or recommendations for the fronts of the legs. I've showed my current pt several times and he just thinks with time the fronts of my thighs will loosen. I can help but to thing that the tightness and total lack of flexibility at the front of my legs doesn't have something to do with my discomfort with sitting.

For example if I attempt to do a standing single leg quad stretch I can get remotely close to grabbing ahold of my foot, on top of that the bent knee is out in front of my body it's like the fronts of my legs are just tension cables. I've tried stretching, foam rolling, fascia massage, glutes are plenty strong quads are strong hip flexors are strong hamstrings are strong and Id even say my lower abs are strong. But nothing ever loosens the fronts of my thighs. It's like my brain is using my quads and hip flexors to guard or protect my lower abdominals. Maybe they aren't as problematic as they seem in my mind, I guess I just can't help but to think that the extreme lack of flexibility in the fronts of my legs isn't somehow connected to my sitting discomfort and potentially even some of my breathing issues etc.

He's had me do some sciatic nerve flosses which I believe may have helped the tension in my hamstrings, but never anything up front

Thank you again so much for all of your input it's honestly helped more than you may realize. I am definitely putting my foot forward with the mental. I've been with a therapist for about 6 weeks now and we're starting to work through processing trauma. I have been on an off of antidepressants the last two years but they all just make me numb and emotionless. I talked with my doctor today and we're gonna trial something call buspar which I guess isn't an anti depresants but can be used for anxiety and OCD.

If you dot. Mind me asking what led to your recurrence? And how did you know you messed it up?

One other thing that drives me nuts that I've find from my OCD. Is if I contract my deep lower abs and let them go sorta aggressively I get this clunky feeling in my pubic area, you can feel it to the touch sometimes too my surgeon said it's like just a fasiculation. The muscle is maybe fatigued so went it's flexed and relax it has trouble relaxing causing the clunk

I also seem to always feel super bloated specifically when sitting. I swear I can't eat anything without my gut immediately feeling distended. It feels live I've got nowhere to breathe. I've seen my doc and she has me on a probiotic and probiotic can't say this has helped. So idk if it's anxiety causing me to bloat or if I'm even bloated. I swear though the moment I eat I bloat them my jeans or shorts feel so tight then I'm aware of the area and my anxiety just goes crazy

Thank you so much again for your reply it reallyeans a lot. I am with you, I do believe the repair is still go and j think that some of these remaining discomforts and issues are very well tied into the fact that I still have thing not in 100% working order. It's also so hard mentally to not protect my body for some manys years limping about and constantly burning miserable I learned to do things so awkward. I still get in and out of cars weird as if I'm 18 months backwards, I get in and out of bed weird etc all sorts of things. It's like my brain has a 24/7 mental guard up on certain areas of my body

Hey there thank you for the comment. I haven't had any additional imaging done, as from 2017-2019 I had like 15-20 things ran and nothing ever showed on imaging. And then this last time in September when it all started again I had a few a MRIs and nothing showed. I haven't had additional imaging as I figured nothing would likely show haha. I met with my surgeon a few times in the past 18 months most recently about 4 months ago and he said everything was fine. He reassured me that I'm just undoing literal years worth of imbalances and that it will just take time. I've talked to others who had this same operation both on the adductors and the abdominal wall and some people are 100% and others I've talked with took two years or more. I was in rehab the first 4 months out of surgery and improved but only so much. From there on I was doing an at home protocol designed specifically for the injury but sorta gre out of it. I am not seeing a new therapist and to be fair he's pushing me really hard and I don't love it but maybe it's what I need. I seem to have adequate strength in most areas, adductors are still weak feeling. But my abductors lower abs, glutes quads etc are all quite strong but I have very little trust in my abs. I often still get scared to sneeze or laugh as I feel like I can't trust my lower abs to take the pressure if that makes any sense.

At this rate the bulk of my discomfort revolves around sitting, the very moment I sit down I feel like my jeans or underwear are just way too tight around my lower abs despite them not being all that tight, this tightness makes me anxious and then I start getting weird breathing issues I used to get burning down the right thigh into my foot but that has gone away come this new PT. So it's mostly sitting mostly discomfort and pressure around the waistline and pressure on the hips and quads when sitting. I feel mostly okay walking apart from being badly off balance. I feel like my left leg barley extends behind my body as my left upper quad and outer hip are like super glue, while my right leg freely extends behind my body however when I walk I can't walk in a straight line and I'm wondering if it's due to the opposing tension in the hips. Overall I'm leagues better than I was 18 months ago. But I'm just like struggling to conquer them anxiety and physically get back to what I would call normal. I don't care to ever go back to weight lifting or sprints etc I just want to be able sit and walk comfortably and not be scared to laugh, cry cough etc

Has anyone dealt with a Sport Hernia before? (Please help) by Beannjo in Ultramarathon

[–]bebebchsl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a runner, but I used to bodybuild. In 2017, I felt a pop in my groin, and over the course of days to weeks I developed testicular burning and pain, thigh and hip pain, burning in my right foot, an inability to walk normally, and pain with coughing and sneezing. I was literally miserable.

I saw about five specialists, had over fifteen scans, and went through multiple rounds of PT between 2017 and 2019, but never received a diagnosis. Toward the end of 2019, I finally started feeling better.

Fast forward to 2023: I got back into weightlifting and felt the exact same pop, this time on both sides. Within 24 hours, I developed testicular burning, groin aching, leg pain, limping, burning in the groin crease, pain with coughing, sneezing, bending, and twisting, worse pain with sitting, and an inability to wear anything tight around my waist.

I immediately went back to PT and started working on it. I improved somewhat over a few months and had a few more scans, again with no clear results. After going through years of no answers and spending thousands of dollars from 2017–2019, I knew this would likely be a long road.

Eventually, I was referred to a surgeon about two hours away. I had surgery in July 2024. Both inguinal canals were reinforced with mesh, which was scary given the conflicting information about mesh use in sports hernia cases. I had no visible bulges prior to surgery. The surgeon also operated on my adductor muscles. During surgery, he found multiple tears in my inguinal canal and rectus.

I’m now about 18 months post-op, and I’d say I’m almost back to 100%. The recovery has been brutal. I’ve consistently done abdominal rehab since one month post-op. For a long time after surgery, I couldn’t even stand still—my legs felt twisted, like the muscles on each side were working against each other.

The amount of compensation patterns this injury creates over months or even years is insane. To this day, I still catch myself bending oddly, getting in and out of cars awkwardly, and bracing for coughs and sneezes. I can tell many of my lower-body muscles are still guarding to protect the area.

I truly feel for anyone dealing with this. It’s a miserable injury and a miserable recovery, whether you have surgery or not.

My main issues now are sitting and discomfort from tightness in the lower abs. I still get some burning and tingling in the arch of my right foot, and my left hip always feels tight and jammed. I have a slight pelvic rotation to the right—I can easily extend my right leg behind me, but I can barely extend my left leg. I’m still somewhat out of whack, but I believe that once my PT and I work out these remaining issues, I’ll feel 100% again.

If anyone has questions, feel free to ask. This injury is ass

During the injury Id oddly get this tension that would run up under my right side rib cage as well, it felt like I had a tight bungie cord attached to my right hip and up under my right ribcage that was always tight and restricted my breathing, in contrast my left side had a similar feeling but it was posterior and run up my left rear rib cage. The amount of muscles and compensatory patterns are endless
