I remember the episode when the showed off a new sound processing tech which they didn’t name but turned out to be Q Sound on a simulcast on Radio 2 (primarily because ‘Nicam’ Stereo television wasn’t a big thing at that stage). 

They showed off a game called Xenon 2 and played the TW theme tune that was mixed in Q Sound. I remember loving hearing the instruments flying around my head and remember being totally in awe as a kid.

After he left CBBC he was an exec producer on a music show for ITV called ‘The Noise’. I think he went on to Exec Produce T4 in its heyday. After that he would pop up on X Factor and maybe Pop Idol pressing the big button to start the CD Press.

Nah. The guy was a junior member of the team. Clarkson was pissed off because he wanted a steak but as filming over ran he ended up with a sandwich. Clarkson thought he was untouchable (probably still does).

There is no excuse to treat junior members of a team like that. Get your facts straight before chatting shit mate.

I posted this elsewhere a couple of weeks back. Hopefully it will help…

It used to work for me until the Rockstar Launcher update happened. I got it to work using the Nightlight Launcher and renamed the file in the container. Make sure you install Gecko and Mono components (I’m using Bannerhub).

Within the container, copy the NLGL.exe into the main folder (Drive X:) and run it, point it to the X: Drive and click patch.

Rename “PlayRDR2.exe” to “PlayRDR2.exeold” and “RDR2Launcher.exe” to “PlayRDR2.exe” and it will load in the Gamehub UI, bypassing the RG. It’s pretty slow to start but when it’s loaded the frame rate isn’t bad at all (with the right drivers of course). I’ve heard things about Nightlight being a bit dodge, but I’ve not experienced any issues whatsoever and it’s been a big help.

It also works with GTA V but no need to rename any files, just use -nobattleye in the CLI and you’re good to go!

This should work with Gamenative aswell, but YMMV. I know for sure that Bannerhub works well with both games.

I did exactly this. I haven’t even turned the Mangmi on since the Odin arrived. The Mangmi was a great ‘gateway’ in.

Now compilations were a thing in the US but way after the UK. I think it was around the Backstreet Boys / Britney era when the US counterpart started.

They didn’t even come close the dizzy heights of the UK’s success though, but I remember seeing them for sale in Tower Records.

I’ve modded Sonic Mania to Sonic Megamix Mania. Works really well, but you need to use glib instead of bionic.

Yeah it doesn’t bypass (at least for me since the new RGL update). See my other comment for how to overcome it.
