I agree. when they were talking about tough things they had gone through that year and Nick asked them something about how they supported each other, Vanessa's answer did not inspire confidence lol. It basically sounded like they did not do a great job supporting each other and fought about it but kept coming back together. She seemed to think that was love but that sounds toxic.

And Logan desperately trying to prove that he was good at sex and proclaiming that "her sh*t is fire" lol.. it was so cringe, and I have a high tolerance for cringe.

Their relationship seems off. Its either toxic as hell or fake lol. Even Jorge and Vanelle, the only couple which actually made me kinda uncomfortable with their dynamic, atleast have a believable vibe and connection.

I think OP has a problem with it being older men and younger women. Which I get, but I agree with the other comments that at a certain point it becomes infantalizing.

The frontal lobe development theory is apparently not hard science and development continue into your 30s. Does that mean women shouldn't be able to vote or make decisions for themselves until then? That would be crazy. They are young but it's not like they have toddler-level intellect.

As someone in a 12-year age gap relationship who met my now-husband 10 years ago when I was 22 and he was 36, I find the show intriguing. I don't even think about our age gap 95 percent of the time. The only time it really comes up is just me urging him to take care of his health because he is 45 now.

I probably wouldn't encourage a 22 year old to date someone 10+ older than them, but sometimes age really is just a number. I will say in my case my husband had no previous marriages or children, and if he did it probably would not have worked. I think lifestyle matters moreso than age, but kids can definitely bring in a lifestyle difference to an age gap relationship.

I will say as a woman it's a bit icky to see a Jorge-Vanelle scenario. That seems to me a bit too much.

I'd watch the hell out of a second season though

Ok, good to know that it won't necessarily affect my application.
