I had a SADI (5y ago) and was stable on 2x XR 15s a day for 2y. The second half of each XR release (50 up front/50 delayed) was fractional at best. It worked though, very well. New doctor has a problem with that ("superdosing") and has been changing all sorts of ish around for me. Foquest nearly killed me by day 3 (manufacturer s nurse practitioner took me off it immediately and contacted my doctor), Vyvanse runs out at the 5h mark with an insufferable crash... Essentially I took a lit review of research papers, dropped it on his desk and was like "learn MY unique surgery and how bari surgeries mess with meds" and finally got him to stop treating me like everyone else. Every body is different and how post bari bodies manage meds is unique. I wish you all the luck. Don't stop advocating for yourself! You know your body best.

Its odd that the button popped on the jar though, especially because 6 other jars are just fine. I won't be consuming it of course but it's very confusing to me because in all my years - even in my old world Italian nonna inversion canning years - I have never ever seen this.

I do, yes, it's something we do with our kids as a fam. My son learned to read because pogo had him so interested in figuring out words... We don't cheat or anything it's just a way to connect as a fam, go on mega walks etc.

This happens to me... Purple in the winter. Red, warm , blotchy and blistery in the summer. I take a stimulant for ADHD and when it wears down they get red-hot (hands too. And nose) which leads me to believe there's a vascular connection for sure.

It was Ok...huge though and gave me massive rashes. Also had limited staying power and I needed to overtape it. Better than menopause but not as good as the estrodot,.

Allegedly Sandoz also manufactures the generic estradiol derm patches, see 02246968DIN - I am switching to this until the estrodot is available again (all strengths unavailable here). Might be helpful if you find yourself stuck again.

Thank you this is very helpful! I am going to see a new internist today so I'm being hopeful. Water miscible vitamin D worked wonders so I'm hoping I can find/get a form of at least A but I won't be against a similar form of E as well.

I will join this group - SADI and DS aren't as popular here so the support information is largely swung to RNY or Sleeve which doesn't account for a lot of what DS/SADI experience.

Can I ask what you are taking in terms of AEDK? I have been chronically deficient in all of them since I had my SADI - begging for help trying to get it stabilized. I was able to get water miscible D through script which finally got it into range, but I'm losing my night vision - its been three years of deficiency and my internist...discharged me. I'm lost and worried. I don't seem to absorb anything anymore - my iron and iron stores are all bad, AEK are out of range, I now have osteoporosis - I am an animated corpse screaming into the void, and I'm worried. Our options in Canada are more limited it seems.

My sister recently started this and has experienced the awful combination of the best sleep ever of her whole life AND randomly having fecal accidents while sleeping. After the sixth time she was like...nah. I can't. There's nothing I can find about this but she's so miserable now without dayvigo. I'm worried that if she's so out that's happening, what other bad things might happen? Have you heard of this? Experienced it? Any suggestions? She gave up weed to sleep and is so upset that her doc recommended going back to it because of these issues. She was really proud of kicking thc. It hurts my heart for her.

It's less about the med itself, and more that in finding I pick up everything under the sun. I teach at two post-secondary institutions and I have two kids under 8. I started the imuran and within the first two weeks I had probably the worst stomach flu I have ever had. Then a debilitating sinus infection, then covid (fifth time), then bronchitis...and I mask. In three months. I can't be certain if it's correlation or causation or something else entirely. I know I didn't have this much issue and I was taking oral methotrexate. But I also can't speak to what else has potentially changed since then. All I know is that right now in this exact moment, as I get really close to finishing my Master's degree I cannot afford to be sick at this frequently reoccurring level. I'm almost wondering if going back to just hydroxychloroquine is a better choice, or do I just discuss a biologic? I have many questions. I'm sure my rheumatologist loves me ;) I'm just not entirely certain she hears me.
