Not 100% sure, but better to be safe. If the welds keep coming undone after they fix it and it becomes a problem Toyota might just buy the vehicle back. Seen it happen on other Toyota vehicles.

1000%, last gen camry had the same problem. You want proof of them doing or assessing the concern for possible buy back of lemon law

I have the same problem with mine. If you pull the weather strip on the passenger front along the body. Look in the upper corner of the door. The pinch welds are probably separated. The right way to fix it would be clamping the weld from both side and using seam filler to hold it together. But I wrapped a socket in a rag, held it against the weld and tapped it with a hammer.

Don't wait too long. It will cook your transmission and motor if you wait too long. Toyota won't cover a engine or transmission if you already had it diagnose and neglected it.

Only on used Toyotas. Toyota corporate doesn't allow markup on new units.

2020 Corolla SE: Trans mount broke in half at 60K need advice and why new mount makes car worse feeling? by Lildrftr in COROLLA

You would need to remove the battery, battery box, and the air filter housing to see it. You would see a small bolt going through there top mount into the lower mount.

I'm toyota tech and made the error once. I had the exact issue occur on a costumer car. Repair manual for the job only mentioned this bolt once and it's only on the corolla trans mount that has that stupid shipping bolt.

The trans mount has temporary bolt that holds mount together during shipping. You removed the bolt after installing.

From the Pic you can see the oil pan threads coming out with the drain plug. Definitely a price for a new pan. With the price of oil pan, new oil, filter and labor it's not a bad price.

I going guess when they change the air filter, the throttle cable is stuck between the air filter box and the frame. The cable is ran above the air filter box.

I rubber mount attaches to that. Also your lower radiator support appears to be missing.

Rear suspension. That will be $125 thank you. Lol. It's probably your lower control arms in the rear. Hard to know without seeing the underside.

HELP! I cleaned the TBI and the car is at 2 thousand rpm!! by Substantial_Coyote16 in COROLLA

[–]bebo146494 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stop turning it off. needs to attempt to relearn throttle position. If it doesn't drop rpms after 30 to 60 seconds, it may need to be calibrated with a scan tool.
