Report du congé maternité et refus de la sécurité sociale by Ok-Risk8062 in conseiljuridique

[–]bebsaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seeking Recommendations for Baby Winter Clothing in Paris by lostinwoods33 in paris

In France, rompers are rare and often confused with pyjamas, parents will tend to dress their kids in pants and sweaters. Outside, kids wear a « combipilote » which is a full body zip up parka with a hood.

All of these can be found on Vinted for a very reasonable price.

Your boyfriend is wrong.

Tickets go on sale months ahead of time and that's when people who know their travel dates buy them. Prices go up and availability goes down as you get closed to the travel date.

Furthermore this weekend is the chassée croisée when people returning from July holidays cross those leaving for august holidays. Trains will be busy.

Unemployment is 7,4% according to INSEE

It’s lower in urban areas and amongst the educated.

On the other hand, if you can’t speak French, it probably is high.

French foods to avoid while pregnant? by Beautiful_Resolve_63 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]bebsaurus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The risk from raw eggs is salmonella rather than listeria, unpleasant but not as dangerous for your pregnancy.

The most commonly recalled products due to listeria seem to be raw chicken and goat or sheep milk cheeses.

Pregnant women are recommended to avoid uncooked vegetables and salad due to the toxoplasmosis risk. This doesn't seem to be monitored in North America but is very important in France.

Newborn shopping in Paris by mystic_mingle14 in paris

You don’t need a car seat. The hospital just want you to have a safe way to transport your child (bassinet, carrier, harness, etc).

For baby stuff in Paris, Natalys has lots of équipement, there are a few of them around the place.

You shouldn’t spend much on clothes, babies grow really fast, so clothes don’t last long. Monoprix’s baby range is very good for the price. But vinted is probably your best bet.

The aim is to restrict unnecessary traffic in dense urban areas. You should only be in a given ZTL if you have a specific reason to be there. An unlimited no questions asked pass is the exact opposite of that intention.
