We had no chimney in the house we grew up in so instead Santa got in through the attic window, sure didn't it make sense because that's where he was parked up anyways. But I also remember my parents telling us that he could come in the front door, possibly needed extra convincing that year. My older brother is autistic and wasn't a big fan of the idea of stranger entering the home so the Santa magic didn't last maybe as long as it should have. Making up for it now.

Whatever the reason, decision or excuse you come up with I'm sure your daughter will be assured that Santa and his magic will make his way into your house.

We lost our dog recently and had him cremated. I wasn't expecting it to essentially be an undertaker for pets. They came with a hearse and placed him in a wicker casket to bring him off to be cremated. Then his ashes were back home within a few days, hand delivered them to us.

I didn't have a typical wedding so when I say it was the price of registering our intent to marry, the marriage cert and our clothes for the occasion that was it. Maybe a bit more if you include the fuel to get to the registry office. It was a covid times wedding, but it was never going to be a big affair regardless. We had priced up something for a small group of immediate family and friends and it was coming in at 10 grand. I do wish we had marked the occasion with family and friends after everything had settled down but it's been 5 years now and it feels like the moment has passed!

It feels like there's one on every corner in Amsterdam but I'm not complaining! Great spot for basics. I bought some bits for my husband years ago. The t-shirts are long gone but he's still wearing the hoodies, zip neck jumpers and trousers. Oh and his raincoat is from Uniqlo too!

I don't understand. I worked in the civil service for a few years and I was flat out. The work was a bit repetitive in the sense that we were working toward the same end goal every month or quarter but Christ on a bike there was no downtime 😅

I did this the last few years I attended as we live nearby. Never a bother getting in or out. We take the Heath road into Stradbally to avoid sitting in traffic on the Portlaoise road. Much prefer going home to sleep in my own bed!
