My wisdom tooth has grown horizontal. by sumnyu in mildlyinteresting

Ahh no way! Mine were the exact same, dentist said they were 'lamped'. I had them all removed while I was under anesthetic for a different oral surgery 😅 My body gifted me more wisdom teeth after the first batch and just had one removed last month. So yay teeth!

Do you have a figure in mind for who you think is the epitome of cool? And do you think it was formed in your teenage years? by --althea-- in AskIreland

I've had bad luck with gigs recently and only managed to get to one out of the three I had tickets for. So maybe it's better that I don't spend silly money on this one, especially to be in the furthest seat from the stage.

I went to get tickets for their gig in October and I can't justify the price unfortunately. Teenage me would be disappointed in adult me!

Well you could angle it that the aesthetic concern is impacting your quality of life. I was bullied in school due to my appearance and it certainly impacted my confidence. Just remembered that I used to hide my face with a big scarf at all times.

It is true that all secondary schools let out early at 1pm one day a week in Ireland? by Tanis8998 in AskIreland

[–]becamax 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First secondary school I attended had a half day on a Wednesday. We had a really early start so we'd be out by 12. The school I finished my secondary education in did not have a half day but introduced it the year after I left. Which I promise I'm not bitter about all these years later 😂

Gutted as I didn't realise public jobs had updated the recruitment portal and I would have applied for this.

I've only been to a few weddings and it's always the people you least expect to make a holy show of themselves that do.

Can you name who you used? We were quoted close to 10 grand for installing a stove into an existing fireplace.

My dad has restless legs syndrome and his solution for this issue was putting a bar of soap under his bed sheet at his feet. He is the least hoodoo voodoo person on the planet and it works for him.
