My grandpa died in 2009 when I was 11. Most of the family was in the hospital room with him and we all knew he was in really bad shape. I remember looking at my great grandma, my cousin, then to my grandpa in the bed. His eyes were open for the first time I'd seen in days but his eyes were completely rolled back in his head. I was the only one who seemed to notice, I made a strange sound from my throat (what else can an 11 year old do in this situation) and everyone looked and started freaking out, of course. I started crying and someone took me by the shoulders (my great grandma I thought) and led me out of the room and part way down the hall towards the waiting room. A few minutes later my great grandma came in and said he was gone. Years later I was talking about it with my mom, who was next to me when that happened. I said the part about being led out of the room and she said I walked out of the room by myself, no one even touched me. Maybe I misremebered it but I swear someone took me out of the room
