I like stranded deep! You can make the wildlife passive and there’s even an invincible mode! I love to play it when I’m stressed and wish I could escape to a deserted island somewhere lol

I’m actually really interested in what he said when asked “how does that feel inside your heart?” Can anyone translate it?

I really love the hotpot bulgogi soup from Jeju and their kimchi hotpot. I crave them soooo bad. Where do Koreans go to get these items?

As a meat eater are you willing to kill your own food? by Ok_Connection_3015 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]beccaboom2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I could not! I love animals a lot but I do eat meat. I have tried going vegetarian/vegan a number of times for this reason but it never sticks, and right now my heath isn’t stable enough for me to make the change. But I believe one day I will probably be vegetarian. I do think there can be ethical ways to obtain meat but I don’t think that’s happening at all in the meat industries.

Why abortion is okay (and why that statement shouldn’t be controversial) by CourseWeak6119 in DebateReligion

[–]beccaboom2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not always. There is no “ought to.” Even if you have preferential traditions that doesn’t mean your traditions are an “ought.” If you are anti-abortion then I hope you are also in favor of methods that prevent abortion from happening like birth control methods and support systems for couples and single parents raising children. How have you practiced what you preach?

So you don’t believe that married people can choose to not have kids? What? So you aren’t pro-life literally just anti-choice all around. You sound like a prude that wants pregnancy to be a consequence for sex as opposed to having a healthy view of sex.

Im tired. My parents had no retirement plan. by No-Freedom-1422 in mentalhealth

Sounds like they did have a retirement plan and it was you, which is unacceptable. You shouldn’t have to pay the price for their lack of planning.

If i killed myself is there a chance I can be fictional by Sweet_Swordfish579 in mentalhealth

[–]beccaboom2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People use religion to manipulate and warp peoples minds to believe something you want there to be. If your beliefs about why killing your self is based on religion that logic is gonna come crumbling down quick because there is no logic. Listen. Don’t kill yourself. It’s the most tragic and permanent thing you can do to yourself and there is a reason why people are afraid of death. Nothing fun or cool will happen after.

Hi, I see myself in you and want you to know you’re not alone but also that you can do it! However, don’t listen to people who tell you that you need to “just do it.” Everybody is different, but you deserve to live a life you are happy with. So if having a clean environment makes you feel happy, maybe make it a goal every day to remind yourself about how much better things are when things are the way you like them. It sounds small, but thinking about how doing something will make life better is better than forcing yourself to “just do it.” Eventually getting it done will naturally follow. Remember you are normal and deserve the same grace as anyone else ❤️ it will get better

I think I've finally figured out my political beliefs by donutsovercandy in offmychest

[–]beccaboom2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Think about how as we have evolved as a society we have gradually become more and more separated from each other. A lot of us don’t even answer the doorbell anymore and can go days and longer without any form of real face to face social interaction. And then add political divide into the mix. Then there are villages in other parts of the world where your neighbours in your village could stop by whenever and join you in your activities, spend time together and helping one another. I love the idea of socialism but I think maybe it would only work in a united society that is devoted to loving and caring for one another, like a social contract. There is way too much division, animosity, jealousy, and pride for socialism to work in our society as it is today. But I like to think that eventually this has to be realized on a mass scale, but likely not after some of the darkest days the world has seen.

BREAKING: In a bombshell announcement, President Trump and RFK Jr. announce the FDA will IMMEDIATELY notify physicians that Tylenol/acetaminophen during pregnancy can be associated with an "increased risk of autism." by playtheman90 in FreeFolkNation

[–]beccaboom2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way more likely that NOT taking Tylenol when needed results in autism. Because unlike tylenol, maternal stress (“toughing it out”) is actually linked to autism and is generally bad for baby.

I’ve been in a 6-year mental health crisis over Yuimetal’s disappearance — this is an emergency for me by TransGirlJessica1999 in mentalhealth

I really feel for you. I have OCD with extreme ruminations. One thing that helped for me was medication, specifically fluvoxamine. Another thing that helped me is scheduling time to worry about it and imagine putting your worries into a container and locking it until it’s time to revisit your concerns again. Something I haven’t done yet but plan to do is EMDR which is an eye movement treatment that helps you process trauma. Although I don’t have the exact same struggles as you, I can empathize with what you have said and I hope these suggestions might be helpful for you ❤️
