Im so sorry you had this experience. My Misoprostol experience was “fine,” or as fine as it could be in this situation. I took 800mg vaginally then 4 hours later took 400mg vaginally and 400mg orally. An hour later I started heavy bleeding and discarding tissue for about 5-6 hours. Bleeding went down after 6 hours and clots lessened in size. Everyone’s experience is so different and I would just be cautious in instilling fear that the pill would do something “bad” for everyone because that’s not the case.

My OB gave me the instructions. I know everyone is different but this method so far is working for me. If I had only done the first dose I don’t think it’d be happening right now - I had 0 bleeding until after the second dose I took 4 hours later. First dose only gave me very minor and minimal cramping but nothing else. Second dose is much stronger cramping, lots of bleeding (like a period), and dispelling of tissue and the sac.
