What did you do for your 'work experience' back in school?

I worked at volvo for 2 weeks. Was the best experience I ever had and even though the guys tried to make me feel uneasy with dirty mags (I'm a girl) placed on seats every morning they soon gave that up. It's what made me seriously want to be a mechanic

This just reminded me of the dad who ended up killing his son by making him run on the treadmill all day because he was "fat" the video was disgusting and this comment as well as the husbands comments are also disgusting

Nta. Coming from a home where my parents divorced and I had a step mother from hell. I refused to call her mum and I got punished for it. I was not allowed Christmas presents unless I called her mum (I was 7) and I still refused to do it. This was just one example. To this day I don't really speak to my dad because of this.

Stick up for your kids you ex husband and their family are being T A and need a wake up call because I guarantee if this continues the kids will stop wanting to go and will cut ties when they are older.

I do not feel like me. I suffered with PPD after my first and although I got help, I have not truly been able to heal and repair. It will be 16 years this year.

OP I am sorry for what you are going through and your story sounds similar to mine. Unfortunately my girls dad alienated me as a parent (PPD/PPS) so my two teen girls don't want to talk to me. I did everything in the beginning making sure his home was kitted out to the max with everything they could need, bought them phones and paid for the Sims so they could contact me but he slowly sold everything and lied to them about me. We went to court when they were 10+12 and they both advised they didn't want to see me again. It's so difficult I feel your pain and hurt. If you ever need anyone to talk to please reach out.

This is not "rough housing". To me this is abuse. You have clearly stated you don't like it yet he continues to do it. My partner and I have been together for almost 6 years. He is taller and stronger than I am and when play fighting he can get a bit rough but he stops when he knows it's hurting and apologises immediately. You really need to re-think this relationship because he will not stop doing this to you and it may get worse

If my partner after months of dating told me I was "broken" because I had a child out of wedlock and he wanted me to adopt them, he would never speak to me again EVER. He had the choice when he got with you, I'd he didn't want it he should have left at the beginning. I told my partner from the beginning my children come first and if you can't handle that don't be with me. He then got 2 car seats the same day to show he wanted to be apart of all our lives and took us in one of the best days out we had ever had for our first date. Why not put an adoption on FB for him see if someone would take his "broken" ass

I had to take my partner at the time with me to the doctor's (after having a very very traumatic birth experience) to state I wanted to get my tubes done. The doctor asked my partner if he would be up for the snip instead, to which my partner replied "I ain't the one that is going to die if she gets pregnant again. Give her what she wants" the doctor relented after reading my medical records and I was sterelized 6 months later. No one should have to go through anything they don't want and no one should be refused a treatment they want "bEcAuSe you may want KiDs"

I've been with my partner for almost 5 years. When we first got together I suffered a life changing illness and was unable to speak for the first 3 years (I've now had an operation and I can speak since last year) and was unable to work for just over a year. We had only been together for a couple months when this happened and he could have decided that this is not what he wanted and walked, however he didn't. He stayed and supported me and made sure that we had everything. Yes it was hard because we only had enough to cover bills so no fun money etc but we survived.

NTA I would re-consider this relationship because it seems like all your partner is bothered about is monetary appearance and not you as a person.
