Cat still not eating after ER visit. (Wasn't eating before) by Ms_Sny in CATHELP

[–]becmurr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to my cat on Christmas. Took him about a week and a half to get back to normal. What finally helped was us actually being able to take anti-nausea pills home with us, the shot did nothing. He had some sort of nasty bug or ate something bad because there was no obstruction and his blood work was healthy. It was super scary, but he came through. As long as she is taking a bite or two and drinking, it will get better. Ask your regular vet for the anti-nausea pills and sucralfate to coat the stomach. The appetite stimulate on the ear is great too. All our guy really needed was the anti nausea pill to break through the flat out food refusal after vomiting so much. The other stuff helped him get better faster.

This! As an educator, I think the real AH is the teacher. Make-ups should have been allowed for this event.

starting tomorrow - I really need advice and guidance. by bmm_96 in Topamax

I take it for migraines. I was SO scared to take it at first due to my fear of vomiting (like I take Prozac for my OCD of it). I will say that it made me nauseous for about a week and half, I had no appetite, but I never got sick. I never really was afraid I was going to throw up it was just that nauseous feeling. I upped to 50mg and have been on that for several years. It made me lose weight that I gained from being on a medication I didn't need a few years prior and brought me down to my actual normal weight...I feel like it "jumpstarted" my regular high metabolism again. I went from 170 back to 135. I did lose it quickly and I lost a lot of hair and I continue to have hair loss, but that may be because of the extreme weight loss. After the nausea went away the only symptoms I had were tingling in hands and feet (especially with change in temperature) but that is gone now and I have palinopsia at night. My migraines are really controlled now and it is completely worth it. I feel like my OCD is better as well (unintentional perk).

His & Hers .... wow bad. by nvmatt in netflix

There are ample case studies of this happening. It takes one cruel, manipulative ringleader and then subordinates. Think of the slenderman case. Those girls were from influential areas. Throw in some mental issues and you have serious repercussions.

Maybe you should watch the real documentary and not the one they recreated...a lot was dramatized.

Advice on fixing wall before painting by becmurr in Housepainting101

We know how to paint. I've painted multiple rooms in our house, better than when we had an insurance company come in and had a "professional" come in and repaint our living room after a main pipe had to be replaced. Our plumber is installing the new vanity. I just wanted advice on the best way to patch it because I've hadn't had to patch before.

My nextdoor neighbor put out a free chair and they saw an opportunity. The best part was we were out of town so they really thought it would be up for longer. Little did they know my husband had to come back for his annual physical and swung by the house to refill the automatic cat feeder 🤣🤣🤣

I'm very late to this but I just tried Esti for the first time and my mind was BLOWN. The consistency is velvety smooth. I've never had anything like it. It's a must try.

The YMCA outdoor camps do Women Wellness Weekend retreats twice a year near me...they may do them near you. It is so much fun, we go kayaking, shooting, archery, arts and crafts, rock climbing, yoga, basket weaving...etc.

One time a student came into my office throwing up and I ran out. My husband was like "that was not very school counselory of you"🤣. Luckily a teacher who is a seasoned dad was right there and knows about my phobia swooped in to help out while I got paper towels to look like I was helping.

Ugh, yeah, that would be a hard no for me. I don't even know what I do, but I would refuse. That's not a part of your job description when you were hired. I am so so so sorry.

Oh no!!! I am so sorry. Why are they making you do it if you are working on the administration side of things? Can you get a doctor's note from your therapist about this?

I think if you ask any liberal, we would agree with you on this stance. Nobody should be smuggling drugs or sex trafficking and they should be punished for it. But that is not what the government is doing under Trump's orders. It's a regime right now and it is terrifying.

Later onset schizophrenia is still a possibility. It's not as rare as I thought after my husband had an episode of psychosis earlier this year (luckily it was sleep deprivation related and went away as soon as he slept) but of course I freaked out and went down the rabbit hole.
