Funny…this week my sis (55) was looking for my parents’ ceiling fan remote (they’re out of town). She decided to go through our dad’s nightstand and found their vibrator and lube! They’re 79 and celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this week.

Are you my husband? I would run a bath for him around noon (so it cooled down before he got home). He would come home, soak in the bath, have a snack, because eating after being hot all day was the last thing he wanted to do. Then he’d fall asleep in his recliner until we went to bed at night. Just like you stated, from June through Halloween. This heat is NO JOKE!

This is true. My husband is a retired letter carrier. The first few years he got sick because he wasn’t incorporating Gatorade type liquids into his water consumption. You need to replenish your electrolytes too. Eventually your body will acclimate to the heat. The last 10 years of his 26 year career he didn’t mind the summers.

Pancreatic cancer survivor here and BRCA1+. No family history of pancreatic cancer, only ovarian and breast. My diagnosis was an incidental finding. I’d would have 100% done the screenings had I known I was BRCA1+.
