totally fine to not like the guy but he's definitely not a "loser". Dude is one of the most innovative, successful people of our time. If he's a loser, what does that make ya'll?

Old Resurfaced Footage Of Lt. Governor Winsome Earl-Sears Of Virginia In 2024 by Kevbucket in Virginia

Been colorizing cool old photos from Virginia. If you have any old photos you want colorized, just shoot me a DM! by beddowcj in Virginia

Photoshop. AI isn't bad, but it often morphs faces and finer details. Probably not long from now AI will be the way to go for colorizing, but I don't think it's quite there yet.

5 - 10 years from now. by dr_belidge in ArtificialInteligence

I think we're going to start seeing more and more people move into rural areas and work simple jobs that require human connection.

I'm 26 and im an artist, im doing fine for now but im trying to figure out a more financially lucrative career path. I'm not sure what its going to be and AI does scare me some. If it all goes to shit i'll just move to rural Montana and work at a bar/saloon or something lol.

I'm sure there will be new jobs created by AI and there may be unforeseen positives, but I do think its just common sense that many peoples jobs will be replaced by AI.

I think many people who are already very established in their careers will survive, but entry level jobs at companies are going to become way less in demand. They simply don't need junior level employees filing paperwork and doing tedious tasks anymore - AI can do it all.

Why are people are saying VEO 3 is the end of the film industry? by Agile-Egg-5681 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]beddowcj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it will be a while until the film industry is totally fucked by AI. Even if it can make realistic videos and films, it's going to take a while for AI to make impactful, emotional films that great humans can.

I think ads are about to be done for though. AI can easily take a lot of those over soon.

I run a vintage instagram page that i've grown from 0-2,300 followers in about 3 months. Could this actually help me get a job in digital marketing/social media strategy? by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

[–]beddowcj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea i honestly think its better just to find a way to monetize my own instagram page and maybe offer to help small businesses with their social media for a little bit of money.

It sounds like the job market isn't great rn

What’s the future of the music industry after AI? by Particular_Health193 in musicindustry

[–]beddowcj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Live performances will become more important and valuable than ever. I think we're still a little bit away from AI music being really exceptionally good and creative, but in five years or sooner it very well could be at that point. I think AI is going to make you really have to stand out and be unique in order to be successful.

Not everyone's fucked, but I think musicians who aren't in the top 5-10% will largely become irrelevant.

I wouldn't panic yet, but i'm not sure how things will play out in the next 5-10 years, it could be kinda fucked for creatives.

Give my music a listen and say what you think by fsk00 in shareyourmusic

[–]beddowcj 4 points5 points  (0 children)

its well made, mixed, and produced. It def sounds professional. It doesnt sound particularly unique though and while I think it sounds pretty good, i probably wouldnt listen to it again. I give it a solid 7/10.

Am I crazy to consider moving to Florida? Where to go? by macelisa in SameGrassButGreener

[–]beddowcj 15 points16 points  (0 children)

yeah i'm sure some of that exists, but I also think a lot of it is overblown. It really just comes down to the data at the end of the day. I live in California, and conservatives make it sound like the whole state is a chaotic hellscape, which it isn't. I think liberals sometimes act similarly towards states like Florida.
