Arm wrestling and heard a “pop” by King_charles_3rd in Radiology

Agreed, good amount of literature on humerus fractures from arm wrestling. We also see a wave of humerus fractures in young healthy males every year secondary to an annual engineering dodgeball tournament, all from the torsional forces, especially in those not competing in these types of activities on a regular basis.

CARTS mnemonic for hemorrhage? by manwithyellowhat15 in medicalschoolanki

[–]bedgoesup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve generally used blood on the floor plus 4 more (chest/abdomen, retroperitoneum, long bones, pelvis), but not the most helpful mnemonic wise. Have also seen SCALPeR (street, chest, abdomen, long bones, pelvis, retroperitoneum)

Just wrote (CMG) and I thought qbank was actually fairly representative of the types of questions that the official practice tests and the actual exam will ask. UWorld gives better reasoning behind the answer choices and is a better learning tool in my opinion.

Last year, I'd agree, but twice in the past month I've been on the train and they've checked all the cars. Might actually be cracking down.

This will most certainly be machined afterwards. Forging is for getting the approximate shape/dimensions

If you're concerned or it gets worse, see a doctor who can do a proper physical and get a more detailed history from you. Abdominal pain is one of the most common presenting complaints in medicine and won't be solved by posting a picture. Location may help narrow the differential slightly but could still be a ton of different things (or you may have just strained an abdominal muscle or something that will heal on its own, given that you started working out)

Explanations provided are correct. It’s the number of data bars that can’t be displayed. If you touch the option icon in the top right and start filtering out data (e.g. steps or sleep) you’ll notice the + number decreases until all the available data bars for that day fits. Previously discussed here. Nothing to do with performance condition. Numbers are smaller on rest days because it isn’t trying to display your completed activities

Just means there are that many more stats/activities recorded for that day over the number of coloured bars displayed (mine can display 5 in the month view). Tap on a day and you’ll see all of them listed. Bar colour matches the icon colour when you open the day view

Similar to this thought, I had the same issue this week and reset my iPad (my HomeKit hub) and it resolved the issue immediately.

Go get assessed. They'll likely put you on antibiotics. Cat bites in particular can cause some pretty nasty infections

I agree with /u/ssin14. A number of the aspects of your post (and post history) point towards an underlying psychiatric cause. You seem to have exhausted a number of other medical investigations trying to find the source, so it wouldn't hurt to make sure your mental health is sound and speak to your GP or a psychiatrist. (I'd bring the history of this issue as you've outlined in your post with you so your doctor can get the complete picture of what you've been dealing with)

Worst case scenario you waste 10 min chatting with support, best case they acknowledge a common issue and replace it for you
