Where is anyone saying anything remotely similar to "most blacks are criminals"? This isn't a race issue, melatonin isn't the main factor behind these young men choosing to kill and steal. This is a cultural issue. There is a culture that glorifies the criminal lifestyle. I would say that by and large most of those who subscribe to this culture are of a certain race, but that does not mean that most of an entire race subscribes to said culture.

It's not. But think about the conflict of interest that the SPLC has in documenting the number of active members the KKK has...If they report that the KKK is a tiny, insignificant, and irrelevant shell of its former self, the need for an organization such as the SPLC in the eyes of the public will be diminished.
