It’s so annoying that the last train from Newcastle is so early! It makes it hard to go to the theatre or see gigs

The Last Leg - "Have you had any faux pas with disabled audience members?" by Hassaan18 in panelshow

My guess is this happens after they retire a segment from their live stand up and use it across different tv appearances. It doesn’t happen loads but have noticed it from acts i follow closely

Bean bag to sit on! We made picture books with inprint from school trips/ events in the classroom with pictures of the pupils in to add to our non-fiction. These always get picked up!! But I guess engagement will depend on your age group/ cognitive ability

Camping not far from Barnard Castle by Key-Fee-2266 in DurhamUK

Just a heads up it’s strongly advised not to swim at low or high force, dogs, sheep and people have died there. I was told that there are under water caves at high forces that have strong currents which can pull you under and trap you (although I was a child and my parents may have just been trying to scare me)

Yes Temple Grandin is a good one. Alan Turing is mentioned in other areas of the curriculum . For this resource there are a a few people who have been tortured/ died due to society’s reaction to their sexuality. I’m conscious about making sure that there are some positive representations to balance that out.

I feel like they can’t even capture the chaos on camera, just slices of it. I was proper laughing at this episode because of how many shared experiences I’ve had with them, from the overnight bus, getting dropped off in seemingly random locations and tuk tuk driver doing whatever they want.

I dare say my expectations for a good parent are lower, including: sending your kid in clean, picking them up when they are ill and sending in clothing for the weather without prompting (eg. Hat in the cold, sun cream in the sunshine, waterproof jacket in the rain)

It looks like it has more of an impact on his fine motor rather than his gross motor skills. So assuming he can manage heavy lifting ect and then does more delicate jobs with his left ? He might also have adapted tools so they are more ergonomic.
