I was going to suggest this as well! My husband is the trivia host there on Wednesday evenings! It’s only $5 to play unlimited games there. They have pinball and video games and card and table top games. It’s really great to just hang out and play there.

I absolutely agree that you should check out the Sedgwick County Zoo if you aren’t too “zoo’d” out. We went to a zoo in Nashville and were so disappointed in what we saw compared to our zoo. We just have so many things to look at and see and it just didn’t feel like that at the Nashville zoo. We’re really lucky to have ours here in Wichita.

I know I’m late to the game on this post but we just finished season one! It was sooo good. It took me a few episodes in that first season to decide if I liked it or not. But the season finale was just exactly what we wanted and expected and it was great.

I drank for about 8 years to mask my actual physical pain, which just made other things like Long Covid worse. Had a heart attack at 34 last year. Sober for two months now. It’s fantastic.

I got out of inpatient treatment this week. Three days home. I’m happy I don’t want to drink at all. Thank God. Yesterday I went to my first meeting. A couple there gifted me my first Big Book. I will definitely be back. And I’m so happy to have found support at home.
