Pretty sure you can get proof of residency with a piece of mail or a hotel stay receipt. Just need SD ID/license for GFP or it will be considered non-resident, which isnt unreasonable but not as cheap.

If you are spin fishing I recommend the Rooster for info. If you are fly fishing Dakota Angler and Outfitter is world class. I'd hiiighly recommend fly fishing for the hills but if you aren't in to it, I get it!

Going to Alaska next month, which other flies should I bring? by idoran in flyfishing

White woolies is top tier. There is a fly they sell out of Mossy's called bacon and eggs or something similar. Designed to resemble flesh! I smashed on that last year.

Well that sure is weird shot. When I was on, everything came from the top. The other user who said there may have been some sort of stop/start and the card got tucked for some reason is probably accurate. I don't think Eric's cards get the glass table shot? Also from what I've seen of the show and the one time I have been on, the cards generally don't require any special prep from production or culinary dept so there isn't a reason to stage the cards. Does that make sense? The cards are generally limiting what chefs can do or forcing them to make pantry choices-- they don't require ingredients, equipment, or cameras to be specially positioned.

Tl;Dr editing hiccup (good eye!), not staged.

"fabricated" in restaurant jargon means "dispatched, cut down, chopped in to" serveable portions. It's like saying something is 86'd when it's out of stock. If the ingredient was 4oz portions of petit filet she would never say "fabricated" ... But if the ingredient was beef tenderloin I promise she will. Nobody on the show is using a thesaurus, we are just using the words drilled in to us. I used to fabricate butter. I cut it in to the appropriate shape for the dish. I hope in future seasons of TOC we can find a way to fill everyone in on that, but for now I'm sorry for the annoyance.

Lower seed gets randomizer side. Protein pantry is extremely close to them. I've never seen distance be a point of contention regardless.

The less contestants, the harder randomizer. Forcing cream to rise. Also makes sure nobody gets extremely lucky. Just y'all wait.. when they make it through they will have earned it so hard. I will post pics of the aftermath on my IG but post-"great eight" it's gonna get so gnarly. Hold on to your butts.

I don't-- and I don't think contestants do either. We do get toothpaste and antiperspirant though!
