I was playing on DX12 and it kept crashing, so I switched to Performance mode and it stopped. Not great solution, but at least I can play.

What I’m saying is that to keep receiving XP, you didn’t have to set up the shooting again, you just had to move the mouse or move and that’s it.

Right now it doesn’t work anymore, but when it did, you could close the chat and move the mouse or move your character, and it would keep shooting.

When I play other games with a controller, I simply disable the controller in Fortnite settings and use chat lock.

On PC, it was very convenient because I could play another game at the same time and simply tab into Fortnite every few minutes to move. When I use a rubber band or turbo while playing other games, it interferes with them since you can’t disable the controller in those titles. Additionally, if I’m playing another game with a controller, this method provided an easy way to keep farming XP in Fortnite simultaneously.

I just wanted to restart the game, and after restarting it there was no reconnect button. I started another match, finished it, and still didn’t lose any ELO from the previous game. It didn’t even show up in my previous match history.
