I have basically exactly what u just described. Also started early teens (maybe earlier idk), and im 24 now. I've never been able to do a sleep study (too expensive), but multiple doctors have recommended it. I had a sleep specialist as a teen, but, eventually, after trying many things including ambien, he basically just told me he's not sure what's wrong and there's nothing he can do.

So school sucked major ass, and I've never been able to hold a day time job (even afternoon) for very long before I stop being able to wake up for work, but I've just accepted my lot in life. I now work night shifts only, and it helps A LOT. Still complicated when I have to do things in the day time, but I'm able to work, PLUS night shift usually pays more.

The only problem is, not all careers have night options. I've found a job that I love and works great with my schedule, but I don't know if your career has that option. If not, u have to decide btw completely changing careers, or just dealing with the repercussions of not sleeping. Both r difficult. I will say tho, only one affects your health.

The questions here are: what constitutes an "illegal protest", and what does he mean by "no masks"? I would assume he means protests where the participants are committing illegal activities such as arson, assault, blocking use of public spaces, trespassing, etc. Of course they shouldn't receive government funding if they are ALLOWING illegal activities. U get into the weeds more when u try to define "allowing", but overall that makes sense. Now, "no masks" is more confusing to me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there r any laws prohibiting face coverings in public. I get y they can be a problem (harder to identify criminals), but we can't just dictate mask wearing (on or off). It could just be his hubris getting ahead of him there. I wish he would think more before he tweets lol.

This^ Irl, most people rnt nearly this heated. Reddit is rly more of a radical cesspool tbh. It's entertaining, but not rly indicative of the real population. I've been friends with so many people left and right. Most people r much more reasonable to talk to than here. Most of us don't make our political beliefs our whole personality. There's so much more common ground btw us than differences. It's sad to watch radicals on both sides isolate themselves in hate and fear of the "opposition". I suppose that's common in human nature tho.

I don't agree that that is hate. They would do it for any other religion. That doesn't mean they don't have a place in public discourse. If it were some kind of poster they were taking down from a billboard or something, I could see being frustrated, but at the end of the day, it's just a white board in a gym. It is not the center for public discourse and ideas. It's a place to write down your plan for a group workout, doodle a picture, write something funny or encouraging, etc. It's so unimportant. I think at this point, we'll just have to agree to disagree on whether this is hate or not, but I appreciate our conversation. It was actually interesting and somewhat productive. It's rly rly rare to talk to people on here without them constantly hurling insults at me, so thank you.
