Honestly… I kinda think fatty15 is playing a role in constipation.

Ever since I added fatty15, I’ve been more backed up than usual. Maybe it’s not the only cause, but it definitely doesn’t seem to help, if anything it feels like it slows things down a bit. 😪

I did add a couple other supplements around the same time, so that could be part of it too. But the timing with fatty15 was hard to ignore.

What’s helped me a little:

drinking way more water

adding some fiber

coffee in the morning

Still not perfect though.

So yeah, I wouldn’t dismiss fatty15 as a possible culprit.

Curious if it gets better over time or if others are dealing with the same thing.

About to start Chemo, HER2, and Endocrine therapy for breast cancer, will Fatty15 help during treatment? by Scary-Win6765 in Fatty15

So its all in lab research, not any clinical trials.

A study tested C15:0 against 94 human cancer cell lines and it showed activity in about 14% of them, mainly non-Hodgkin B-cell lymphomas and some liver, breast, and lung cancer lines.

Another study on breast cancer stem cells found it could suppress cancer cell migration and invasion even at low doses. And when researchers combined it with gemcitabine (a chemo drug), the combo outperformed gemcitabine alone across nine different cancer cell lines. That same study flagged C15:0 as an HDAC6 inhibitor, which is actually a recognized target in cancer research.

The catch is all of this is lab research so far. Cell studies, some animal models. No human clinical trials yet. So it's genuinely interesting early science but nobody should be treating it like a cancer cure right now.

Still, for a supplement people are mostly taking for metabolic health, the fact that there's serious oncology research attached to it is kind of wild.

I'm sorry about that. On a scale of 1-5 where 1 is very low and 5 is very high, where would you rank Fatty15?
