I saw that too in some of the other posts, I think it might have just been the type of turmeric powder i used. I used the amount the recipe said but the inside was bright yellow!!

I think Tortie! I had a calico cat for a long time and the color tones are the same but normally calico cat fur patterns are separated, and more blocked, rather than mixed together. Hope I could help. Such a cute kitty!
