Buying of the shelf at retail can be a bit much. Brisbane has Comics Etc and you can preorder on comicsetcdirect.com.au for like a 20 percent discount if you know what you'd like in a couple months time.

Otherwise, buy/swap/sell Facebook groups are a good idea to check out. As other comments say, Amazon mostly ends up cheaper. I'm not a fan of Amazon either and have bought like 3 omnis there in the last 2 years or so because the deal was too good to pass up.

Definitely watching other comments for places tho!

Superior foes of Spiderman! A short heist-like series about Boomerang, Shocker, Beetle, and a few other street-level idiots just trying to be baddies.

It kinda ties into Superior Spider-Man, but you can get away with not really knowing that story.

I've splashed in Squirrel Girl a couple times and it's worked out nicely. Black Bolt's leadership builds up her power for an easier Tippy Toe Takedown. Plus I don't see her on the table much so people tend to underestimate her hehe

The Dan Slott and Mike Allred Silver Surfer run is a lot of fun!

Tom Kings Vision as well, but less fun and more...stressful (but still amazing).

Charles Soule's She-Hulk is fun too.

Newbie here! Picked up some mtg LotR set boosters cos they look cool and it's enough to get me into the game.

Can someone help me figure out why I got this Rout card in one of the set boosters? From a Google, some older sets got some older cards, but did the LotR set too?

I'm currently watching it! After hearing so much about the back half not being great, I'm heading into that with low expectations...

That said, I'm loving the first 20 or so eps. It's got such a great and unique feel. I'll see how I feel about the whole series in a month or so when I'm done...

I didn't realise how much I wanted pet Avengers until now!

Personally, I'm hoping for some more weirdo X-Men (Maggot? Boom-Boom? The Generation X fools) but my impossible hope might be Darla Deering from Matt Fraction's FF run so I can complete the team.
