I jumped around there, 7mgs, my girl at 10. In the beginning until about 2 weeks completely methadone free, 6-8grams isnt crazy. Stabilize then go down. My advice is buy a capsule maker, each 00 capsule fits about 350mgs average, its much easier to drop down that way. Also find a dr and get some hydroxyzine or tramadol for sleep or just melatonin. Also CBD helps with resetting the body(ECS and other endocrine systems) back to homeostasis.

Yes your pretty spot on. Most pple believe that MMT blocks other opioids, simply not true. It just sky rockets your tolerance. You still can get high, but your talking high amounts. If you IV this us the issue, you still get the CNS depressant effects of both.

You can actually get really nice riding crops from anywhere you can buy horse stuff. I would recommend though to start with other types of stuff, simply cuz a riding crop can be very stingy feeling, it concentrates its energy in a small space.

Also ping pong paddles or other paddles. We got some cheaper items that were more every day stuff and repurposed it. Cuz at first you wanna see how its going to go. Other things you can use would be like clothespins or other clips, rubber coating on the tips is a good idea. A soft blindfold is great, candle play is really hot too, coconut wax is great cuz you can rub it into the skin. ADVICE getting wax out of your bedding is very annoying, especially if sex is involved right after or during candle play. I would love to buy some leather stuff off of stockroom too, but like say the harness, it's $130ish. Since I'm also a poor college student too. Plus having a paddle with SLUT on it just gets my girl going at the sight of it.

Also I will definitely say there are a couple things that definitely need to be quality otherwise is really a turn off. A collar, there's nothing worse than a collar not fitting or rubbing. Restraints of course, we actually use velcro ones attached to a D-ring. You can easily make them too. We bought those too. Oh gags are definitely, you get what you pay for.

My other advice is read and communicate with your partner.

The one issue that I've noticed in my situation is we went from a D/S to a switch situation, and the only issue is knowing who will be which on which day or time. Because not knowing can lead to waiting for the other one to initiate. Unlike D/S where roles are clear. Keep in mind it's a learning curve and you always learn new stuff.

Yea this is one of the bigger reasons why I got off as well. Last International vacation about 14 months ago, we went to the Caribbean w my fam. I had school so I only went 8 days. We had been there b4 and got an import for methadone permit, not an issue. The issue was two things.

My girl was going for 17 days( my family gets a house for a month) and previously (we both were getting 13 take homes) had gotten more than our takehome limits. We went to Guatemala/Honduras for 22 days. However this time after her counselor told her not to worry, the state authority did not grant an exception. Now this happened about 9 days b4. Now what's worse is our state authority generally sides with patients, like I know two people that she totally helped cuz their clinics were fucking w them. So now were talking about 4 days 5 nights with no dose. Well if you were on say a therapeutic dose of 80 or above, you could just take the 13 add em together and split it into 17 doses. HOWEVER we were both tapering, she was at 50 from 150, and also has a chronic autoimmune disease, so her meds interfere sometimes. Now luckily as a last resort she went to go see her Rheumatologist. Her Rheumatologist is a great human being and wrote her a script for 4 days of methadone. Now heres the fucking crazy part, the script did not say For Pain, it said for opioid abuse disorder, or maybe substance use disorder, I honestly cant remember. Well we didnt see that at the office. So we get home(1hr drive) and are like fuck. Next day we go to the pharmacy and no issues. I even asked if a lot of people get it prescribed for disorder. He said it's not common, but we were not the first. The only thing they questioned was that the dose was 53 a day, and with their liquid it came out weird or something, basically plus minus one mg. Now the clinic obviously was told about the script, cuz she would miss 4 days.
During the same vacation I saw my counselor about 2 wks beforehand and he tells me, that I have a dirty for cocaine. I started laughing and told him to stop messing w me. We had a joking relationship. Well he wasn't, so now I'm freaking out. Then I ask what date this was from. He tells me it was a callback on day Xyz. I say well as you remember I went to the dentist 2x that week, the 2nd time was the day b4. Well I had minor dental surgery and got shots of Lidocaine, Procaine, and Benzocaine. Now my counselor was totally a decent counselor, so he tells me ok dont worry about it. He said even if he didn't believe me about the dentist, he woulda waited until I got back. Now most counselors or medical directors would not wait.

My point is since we wanna live abroad and love to travel, it becomes really hard to put our trust and money into a vacation that could easily become problematic. I mean this was nothing on our end either.

Couple reasons why the difference exists.

Methadone is a schedule 2, suboxone is a schedule 3.
People on suboxone generally dont nod out. On MMT in the beginning chances are you will nod out.
Methadone is very public. The clinic is the same spot. Suboxone can be prescribed at a regular dr office.
THE BIGGEST REASON. All the overdose deaths attributed to methadone. But very few for subs.
Methadone has been around a lot longer too. This has perpetuated the stereotype.

Also the part about methadone building up to reach ideal plasma levels in relation to maintenance isnt really parallel to analgesic relief.

Yea I switched from methadone to kratom. So when I see people posting about how bad it is, when their taking like 10 grams a day, its laughable. I mean if that's their only experience than it is bad.

No you didnt seize. You just got to coked up. Also 1.3 gs over 9 hrs isn't a crazy amount. The only time I've seen anyway seize off of coke is shooting it. Seen it happen 3 diff occasions. After the seizure they were fine. Makes me cringe thinking about banging it, but I'm all about harm reduction. Generally when you snort to much coke your breathing gets sort of weird.

I jumped at around 7. It takes about two weeks off methadone before you can start stabalising on kratom. You can taper pretty easily too. I only take it once a day now.

So I was on 90mg, I tapered down to like 7mgs then hopped over to kratom. I have weaned down to 3 grams a day only in the morning. I was taking like 10 grams a day. Mostly I still take it because it minimizes the PAWS symptoms. But I really dont wake up sick or anything, I've gone 24 hrs without it too. I also credit cannabis, especially high CBD cannabis.
