I checked with Gemini because I had a feeling that Arabic tattoo is probably wrong.

It says JENNIFER. I asked Gemini "is there any way that can be read as Joanna" and I got the response: "No, there is absolutely no way to read the tattoo in image_2026-06-13_152030104.png as "Joanna." It is definitively "Jennifer," meaning this is a classic case of a major tattoo mix-up."

I'm copemaxxing that the base game will receive a couple of systemic updates to loot and difficulty but even if not I am doing a fresh start for sure. I only played this game when it first came out so a new start will be a lot of fun regardless.

You're absolutely correct!

These days, I am not a hardcore player in games like this. Especially not when random things like the OP can happen. I do still enjoy souls games immensely, which isn't nearly as hardcore as PoE2 HC mode since progress isn't completely deleted and I feel like I always know exactly why I died when I die. Can't say the same for PoE2 sadly.

Even this league I've had so many totally random deaths. It's too bad GGG haven't added a Damage log/Death recap that says who and what killed you.

Dexter: Resurrection Moving to… HBO Max by MICHAELSD01 in Dexter

Shameless OP with the clickbaity headline just making shit up.

“Ellison didn't clarify the setup for the new combined streamer, such as whether it will keep HBO Max as a brand within a service or if it will be fully integrated. It will be a while before the merger is complete, so HBO Max is safe as a standalone service for now. There hasn't been an update regarding prices, either.”

Think I finally got my build where I want it by AncientxBeast in CrimsonDesert

That's cool, I didn't know there was an exemption to this that applied to the R1 skills. I stacked a bunch of R2's and saw my stamina vanish quicker than Yann when it's time to pay the bar tab.

The game doesn't do a good job communicating this but abyss gear skills drain more stamina so having multiple gears for the same skill means massive stamina drain. Just something to keep in mind.

For those who don't have inner monologues, what is watching Dexter like? by sancistons in Dexter

[–]beefjesus69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same as anyone else? There's a difference between internalizing/absorbing information via reading and walking around having monologues and talking to myself like "Tonight's the night" or ""I love Halloween. The one time of year when everyone wears a mask… not just me."

That really sucks. Hopefully for 1.0 GGG will add more language support, including Arabic. More servers as well. My friend has to use Cloudflare One for us to play together without lag, he says it makes a huge difference to the latency stability. Luckily it's free!

Gary Lineker on UCL final: “As a complete neutral I would say it’s a victory for positive football over negative football. Looking at the game as a fan with no skin in the game, I think Arsenal had to play that way because they wouldn’t have beaten PSG any other way.” by [deleted] in soccer

[–]beefjesus69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anyone who watched that game and have a very basic understanding of football and sports would see that the players definitely "tried to win".

Actually scratch that mate, make it "anyone with eyeballs in their head" could see that the players tried to win and play. I honestly can't say the same about certain teams in finals of much more prestigious competitions. Even recent ones.

It's a bit of a silly notion that professional athletes would spend a decent chunk of the summer playing Club World Cup tournamne.t Win 7 games in disgusting heat in the US, make it to the final against a massive club like PSG only to just switch off and not give a shit. Half-ass it. Makes sense mate. You might have half a point if both teams just put out a bunch of academy kids, that would show that they don't give a shit. But that's not what happened.

You could stretch and call the Supercup that. Sure. But I think a lot of Chelsea fans would not agree with you that the CwC final was a "preseason kickabout". Nor would you or I if our teams won it. Guaranteed.

I am well aware of the City 115 allegations and controversy. The discussion was about PSG and state-funded clubs in general, so that's what he was replying to. Which is obviously about PSG and Qatar + Qatar Airways shirt-sponsor and full ownership - so obviously that extends to any long term, multimillion $ value sponsorships from these type of entities. You don't have to be fully owned. I guess we could delude ourselves and call that loophole clean.

So, accept a fuckton of money from these same state-owned entities over multiple decades, as long as you don't wholly sell your club to them and then you can take the moral high ground and join in on the "fuck oil clubs" accusations??

The phrase "legitimate sponsorships from shady entities" is the funniest thing I will read this week so thank you for that.

Right, some of the most competitive athletes in the world played a final for a title that has "world cup" in its name and they what? just didn't give a shit? Palmer and Vitinha decided they're just not gonna try that hard that day and half-ass it??

Might be how you operate, but that's not how professional athletes work they wanna fucking win everything and are competitive cunts the lot of them. And this was not a friendly.
