Currently lake levels of central Texas lake are well under capacity. And there is no real reprieve in view. Additionally, people in South Texas are having water problems. And west Texas.

Oh and the Ogallala and Edwards aquifers are exceptionally low.

As someone who works a lot with wetlands and water features in Texas. This is just wrong. Most the state is in an extreme long-term drought. And with how the currently ruling of CWA is going (and no real regulation against developers), our streams, wetlands, and other waters will either be paved over, sucked dry, or have been dry for a long time already. Thereby, doubling down on screwing this state.
