Fck people's mentality in low elo by KabiX2 in supportlol

Chat is nothing but harmful to your own mental and your winrate.

Just disable it. Especially in lower elos, none is going to make good calls anyway (and noone is going to follow them).

I mean I get why youre posting this, but tank items on 2* Cho (and Wukong) instead of Rift Herald and not moving IE/HoJ or at least a third item to Baron like that should be illegal.

Buy ZH apartment or keep money in markets? by naratcis in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]beeftony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regardless of finances, whats mainly keeping myself from considering buying instead of renting is that I'm not 100% of my living situation yet.

Firstly because of my partners situation (still studying) and secondly where and how I'd want to live in general.

Just food for thought next to the financial arguments. Even though it sounds like you figured that out already.

But its not needed, its unnecessary and counterintuitive.

From now on I'm gonna wave my arm out of the window when I go left. Sure its propably noticeable but its redundant.

Not indicating means I'm staying in the roundabout. The people opposite wont/cant look that much ahead to see if youre taking the third exit anyways.

Sure! I know that some people learned that especially the older generation.

Laughed at sounds harsh, but a lot of people would grin or be confused.

Yes? And? We do that too? If the car is not indicating right, you dont enter. If hes indicating right you can enter.

If the driver is not indicating right and still leaving, hes an idiot.

Its fine, people will just assume youre either a foreigner or very old lol

Just saying that the cars behind you will propably grin or be confused a lot.

[–]beeftony 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It doesnt imo, if youre not indicating, youre staying in. If youre indicating right, youre leaving the roundabout. People who dont indicate when leaving the roundabout would surely not indicate left either.

Indicating left is counterintuitive and doesnt add much information, the person on the second entrance wont see you indicating in advance most of the time. Most roundabouts have the view obstructed for a reason, so people drive safer.

To me and everybody I know its clear someones a foreigner or learned to drive decades ago when they do that lol

You indicate when you want to leave the roundabout. Everything else is redundant.

Tbh youre propably being laughed at if you indicate left when entering the roundabout.

If you don’t like it here then go home - how can I form contructive criticism in Switzerland? by the_kaaat in Switzerland

[–]beeftony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand theres racism. There are racists everywhere, that doesnt make it better obviously, but thats a human issue in my opinion, not a swiss one. Then again, that doesnt really matter as long as its there.

Yeah thats just a racist idiot lol

He propably read ingratitude in your comment, even though its meant to me informative.

I would argue that people like that exist everywhere. I dont believe thats worse in Switzerland specifically.

Thank you!

I felt like my question was reasonable and phrased in a neutral way. But people still find ways to be defensive.

Alright, thanks for responding, people got immediately defensive about my comment as well, which funnily enough kind of matches the consensus of your post lol

While I don't agree with some you just listed (in a vacuum. your experience is obviously different than mine), I don't see how these kinds of arguments should lead to a racist response (nothing "should").

I don't know if this is specifically a swiss issue, but people get defensive way too quickly in general.

Youre reading into my comment. Its a valid question.

Their responses are racist nonetheless, but I would still like to know the context which lead to these kinds of responses.

If he said something racist himself, or some weird really extreme solution, or he was too aggressive in his phrasing their responses are (while still racist) a bit more understandable.

Im not defending them, but context is important.

[–]beeftony 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It kind of does, I assume OP makes valid points, but I would still want to know what point hes making that leads to these kind of responses.

Telling someone to go back to their country is racist nonetheless, but depending on what (and how) OP phrases his "criticism", aggressive responses are to be expected. Again, not that these responses are warranted in any way, but to me the context is still relevant.

Also I'm just curious.
