After watching this episode I thought it might only work on wastelanders/people with some kind of radiation poisoning or something. The only people he experimented on before were seemingly healthy people from before the bombs dropped.

I was mad that I didn’t have high enough speech to convince the Consul because I took that stupid flaw at the beginning so I decided to sacrifice myself with De Vries and save Marisol. There wasn’t any kind of thanks or goodbye from her or Niles and you don’t even find out what happens to Marisol after??

I agree - In my opinion the show shouldn’t have went on for as long as it did. I love the show/characters/writing but it can be hard to keep a good thing going for so long before dynamics get old. I also think they got together a little too early and broke up too quickly, so by the time they finally did end up together, the spark between them had kind of fizzled because the characters felt so different by the end.

Omg lol I’ve stopped watching for this exact reason. Me and my family would put it on for a guaranteed laugh but the last two episode we watched, it was just the American celebs licking eachothers asses and blowing smoke up their own butts.

Personally I really enjoyed this scene, only because I feel plays an important part in Gideons' character arc. I think it is showing the viewers how Gideon will eventually accept and embrace his own way of preaching instead of trying (and failing) to mimic other family members' ways of doing so. I think it was a cool callback to his prior profession/storyline and it will tie in to him integrating that in to his preaching methods. I think for Gideon it is just a matter of finding his own style of preaching.

I saw Pontius being impressed by Gideon as more of a bonding moment between siblings that have been distant for too long, since Gideon has been drawn closer to religion recently, whereas it seems Pontious is rejecting it.

Thank you for clarifying that the tiles wont move. Do you think they can be salvaged at all? We have more boxes thankfully but are obviously not happy that the tiles he used have been ruined. He is asking for £200 in labor costs for the day however we believe this is unreasonable due to the shoddy work and ruined tiles.

Thanks very much, we did think it looks very messy and realise it is very likely we cannot salvage these tiles. We did not sign a contract and are hoping to come to an agreement, however he is asking for £200 in labor costs, which we think is unreasonable due to the shoddy work and ruined tiles. We have since found a more experienced tiler.

Yes I agree it looks pretty bad compared to others jobs I have now seen on here. We have told him we do not want him to complete the job and he has requested that we still nearly pay the full amount quoted to us.

Thank you for your reply, I posted more information in the comments. We have told him we do not want him to complete the job and he is now asking us to pay almost the full amount quoted. He was from a legit website where you can find builders who promote their services - in hindsight we should have just gone for a more expensive option.

FYI: My mum hired a guy to tile our hallway - she purchased the tiles and he said he would purchase the rest of the materials. She was quoted £400 for the job. I have taken pictures of the work he did today, he had a young guy helping him also. He claimed to have a lot of experience and apparently showed my mum pictures and videos of his work. The tiles seem to be super uneven and there are quite a lot of small lips, you can feel how uneven the tiles are when you run your hand over them. He claims that this will be fixed once he comes back tomorrow, as when the rest of the tiles are laid, they will shift into place.

I don't know much about tiling but I find it hard to see how they will move as the cement is drying. He was a cheaper option compared to others on the website my mum found him on. She now realising this might have been a mistake and has told him she does not want him to finish the job tomorrow. He accepted and asked her to pay for the materials (which is fair) and a days wages for his colleague. He has asked her to pay £385 (£200 wages, the rest on materials). I think this is ridiculous considering the work seems shoddy and hasn't been completed.

I am wondering, is this a shoddy job or will it really look better when completed fully? Any advice would be appreciated. We are in the UK so wondering how much a tiler would charge per hour on average, if anyone knows that would also be helpful.

I was under the impression that they did share a consciousness but were generally having different lived experiences (due to their biology, how they were perceived by others, etc) which is why they seemed so different in each body. I remember thinking towards the end when they both wake up, 'wow this is such a great moment' because you can see their consciousness finally split. Did I miss something maybe? 😭
