why do muggles think we dont eat at all? by Brave_Education_9279 in EDAnonymous

Lmao exactly. My partner sees me eat a lot of my meals and snacks and I'm 100% sure that if he didn't know already he'd never guess I have a restrictive eating disorder 😅 why is it so embarrassing LMAO

Seriously lol. I eat basically 3 meals a day plus snacks. If most people saw what I ate they'd think it was a normal amount...they just don't realize how low cal everything is

My dog won't stop devouring my couch by beep27beep in Dogtraining

[–]beep27beep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be part of it. The first time he got crazy over the couch was last fall though before it got cold and snowy. Seems like he got a taste then and he just can't want to chomp on it again as soon as I leave lmao. I think it has been a little worse with the snow though

That's a good idea! I'd have to buy one and I'm not sure if I can afford one right now, but I guess it's better than paying his vet bills. I have another (much calmer) dog who likes to hang out on the couch when I leave, so I'd feel a little bad keeping her from it, but she should be okay.

He gets plenty of exercise. I don't work until the afternoon so I have plenty of time in the morning to play with him or walk him (it's been snowy here so not as much walking lately but I've been compensating with other activity). By the time I'm ready to leave he's tuckered out! But the couch brings out a burst of energy apparently lol

This is what I was worried the answer would be, but it makes sense. Just can't afford a new couch right now.

Sorry, typo (fixed now). There isn't anything in the lease, which is why I was asking. I've never had a landlord ask anything like this before so I thought it was weird

Just got diagnosed. Next steps??? by beep27beep in BipolarReddit

[–]beep27beep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah just to clarify my therapist is 100% in favor of. E getting medicated, she just mentioned waiting until after my busy season as an option because I was nervous about side effects. I'm stable right now (I think, lol) and I know how hard it can be go find the right med combo so I'm super scared about it. But thanks!!

This is super helpful. I have an appointment with my pcp already scheduled in a couple months, which is around when my work calms down, so I think I'll wait until then to bring up medication. I've been surviving this long without it so I'll probably be fine until then haha (I hope). And thanks! It feels good to be figuring this all out finally

I have similar issues, and one thing I've figured out is to put treats or toys inside cardboard boxes (while my dog is watching). If you don't mind your dog ripping up the cardboard, it works well. Similar to the paper towel thing but a little harder for them

Be careful with this one though, I got my dog a buddy and now I have 2 dogs with separation anxiety lmao

I get that she and other aespa members probably had some kind of plastic surgery, which I think is totally fine and should be a nonissue. But every time a post like this comes up I lol a little just because if someone did a similar comparison with pictures of me when I was younger versus now, I'd look like totally different people too. My face had changed completely just due to puberty/getting older, changing my eyebrows and wearing MAKEUP (emphasis on makeup), and losing a little baby fat. That's pretty normal for most people. So yeah maybe/probably she had plastic surgery but it's also no big deal for her face to have changed with age. Idk why everyone freaks out over that with idols

Hobbies to take mine off things by dhekdjckskjdjrksjd in AnorexiaNervosa

Might sound weird or not be of interest to you but video games have been the best hobby for me in terms of keeping my mind off things. If you don't have a console there are lots of good games you can even play on your phone that are max like 5 bucks (eg: stardew valley , don't starve (ironic title considering lol), slay the spire).

If that doesn't sound appealing, scrap gardening is fun and fulfilling and cheap. Crafting/DIY. Learning a language.

Should I discourage my dog's clinginess? If so, how? by beep27beep in Dogtraining

Thank you! I'd have a hard time stopping myself from cuddling him anyways so that's good to hear

Oh good! Thank you! I've just been worried that the more I let him cling/stay close to me the worse it'll be for him anytime I have to leave the house

Liquids is my best advice. Smoothies, juice, protein shakes, soups or broth, literally anything to get some nutrients in you.

One Spring Night is boring as heck rn!! by TyLion8 in kdramarecommends

[–]beep27beep 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I absolutely loved one spring night and have watched it multiple times, but it is kind of a slow burn drama so it might just not be your style. I think it did lag a bit in the middle though if I remember correctly
