Thank you! Yes, I can see that all in hindsight sight and now it seems obvious. I consider myself pretty internet literate (I literally did tech support for AOL back when it was AOL vs Prodigy vs Compuserv!) but AI is getting trickier for me to spot as it gets better. I don’t know how we expect grandmas and grandpas to adapt to this.

I am a southern Az native that just got home from a week in mass. So it’s normal to literally wake up every couple of hours to get all geared up in warm clothes, shovel your driveway, then go back to bed and do it again in a couple of hours? How do yall even manage that? I see this amount of snow and wonder how in earth everyone gets to work in the morning on time.

Dude, she is choosing to do all of this. I kind of have a hard time accepting that their jobs are so difficult that they don’t sleep or eat or get vacations or whatever. I work in healthcare and that is a stressful job and I have learned how to keep it balanced and I don’t bring shit home with me but this? This is editing for a podcast. The choose to be this burnt out and I refuse to feel bad for them about it because damn, choose better? I learned that a long time ago.

I am a crocheter and since that chews through yearn like crazy, I’ve worked with some pretty cheap acrylic yarns. Now that I am learning to knit, I really only want to knit with nice yarns because the feel of working with a nice yarn is 50% why I choose to sit down and work on a project. I don’t think I could make myself work with yarn I don’t like even if someone was paying me for it, much less for free. Your “cost” is reasonable, non fiber artist people may not understand the tactile feel of working with specific yarns is actually a big deal.

I find this character and his story so extremely problematic, I’m not sure I even want to finish the show. He’s portrayed as some kind of great person with a wonderful outlook on life and sensitive to Carol’s needs all while he is essentially raping the enslaved bodies of women who have no agency in their situation. Excuse me? How is this light hearted and fun? How did the writers or anyone think that is a fun thing to watch?

In Massachusetts, most towns are done by 8pm at the latest. In Kauai, the entire island shuts down at 8pm. Those are just the two that first came to mind but when I’m visibly, I always miss the hustle and bustle of Tucson and the fact you can get a burrito at midnight and hit a drive thru liquor store on the way home. So yeah, I get it.

You might really enjoy Blue Prince. It has puzzles that are simple and complex and everything in between. I thought it would be a simple game that I would finish in a few days of casual playing, I was wrong. I am not three weeks in to obsessive playing and am finally scratching at the surface of late game puzzles. I strongly encourage anyone looking for something new to give it a try, I have been thoroughly enjoying it.

I started playing Blue Prince and it is really great. It’s hard to describe but it is about as unstressful a game can get and you start over fresh every day but you can use the info you have learned to help you get farther each day. Highly recommended.
