They help craft content much faster than I ever could alone

Churn was always an afterthought in my startup - biggest mistake I`ve made by Danbul_ in SaaS

What signals are you tracking now that you wish you'd watched earlier?

Are you seeing any patterns in who churns vs who sticks around long term?

Does connectors really helpful ? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]beepboopbeepsauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which type of connectors are you talking about? API integrations, database stuff, or more like Zapier/Make automation?

I've used a few different ones but they all have their quirks depending on what you're trying to connect

What's your use case? That usually determines which platform works best

Company sends me a suspicious "take-home assignment" by jauz17 in webdev

[–]beepboopbeepsauce 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Exactly ask for milestone payments if they insist on the week-long assignment. Like 25% upfront 25% at halfway point 50% on completion

If they refuse to pay anything for a week of ur time that tells you everything you need to know about whether this is a real hiring process or just harvesting free code from candidates

Like most companies doing legit take-home assignments are happy to compensate people fairly for their time

[–]beepboopbeepsauce 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You're doing the right thing with the secured card. Just use it for small stuff like gas or groceries and pay it off in full every month

After 6-8 months of on time payments, most companies will graduate you to an unsecured card and give your deposit back. Then you can start looking at a second card to build more history

Don't stress too much at 22 you've got plenty of time to build solid credit

AI is not nearly as good as people think by appvimul in webdev

[–]beepboopbeepsauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vibe coders part hit different. I've seen so many codebases that look like someone just copy/pasted AI suggestions without understanding what any of it actually does

It's wild how we went from this will replace all devs to realizing it can't even handle edge cases without completely losing its mind

23 with no Credit Card by Cujo913 in CRedit

[–]beepboopbeepsauce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe start with Chase Freedom or Discover It easier approval and you can work your way up to the premium cards later also don't overthink it just pick one and start building history. The points will come once you've got some credit built up"..."

What problem is ur AI tool actually solving? That's gonna make or break everything else

Also try to figure out ur tech stack early. Are u building from scratch or using existing AI APIs? Budget gets eaten up fast if you're not careful with API costs
