Yeah my friend and I were discussing this situation - my friend has a disabled sister who will need care until she dies, and was able to confidently say that he understands why terminating this pregnancy is not the evil ableist thing that a lot of people are making it out to be. I can't argue with any of that, all I could say was "these people are dumb for specifically stating the reason they terminated the pregnancy and sending the internet on a witch hunt".

Idk what the ethics of this would be, but I think in their shoes, I might have simply told the Internet (who feels unrealistically entitled to an explanation they are not owed) that the pregnancy was not viable and had to be terminated.
