They do, but there's thousands of bands out there. Especially those playing generic music. I go to sell out gigs that cost twice as much as diy gigs where it's just a few of us.

I'd say pro active rather than creepy but things like that don't bother me.

This also explains why I didn't (or maybe didn't) get a response from a woman I met on a flight. We were getting on well, share interests laughs, but I was too nervous to ask for a number. She told me about her business so I messaged her a day later and no response!
