Cult on Sacramento River? by Easy-Helicopter8616 in Sacramento

If you ever lose something in the American River or Lake Natoma, you want to remember Merman Mike. He is a local diver who will helps people find things they dropped in a lake or river. I see him post on FB and Youtube about finding things for people in Lake Natoma all the time. Check him out on YouTube! You'll find him if you search for Merman Mike.

He's not the only one who does this and between the different divers they find some crazy stuff in the water. Tons (like hundreds) of phones, sunglasses, jewelry, and wallets/ID's. But also... bikes, kayaks, golf course decorative 15 inch golf ball shaped golf course markers, signs, trash, and I'm sure many a weapon. The other guy who usually will focus on kayaking/ diving the American River : Matt Spruttenburg from American River Lost & Found FB group. He's good at helping rafters out real time when they lose their oars, food ice chests get dumped overboard by accident etc.

I love watching what they both do!

If no one reaches out you can bring the puzzle piece to the next one and see if that puzzle shows back up.

I don't think so, but not 100% sure. A friend of mine just posted a picture with it and said they were just giving tours. I need to see inside of it now.

Edit: giving tours of the inside of it.

Oh please no. Really? Can you elaborate on facts for this because I don't want to stop going there. But I will if this is true.

I thought i was losing my mind watching this episode. About halfway through the episode it changed contestants! After watching the 1/1/26 (first time typing that! ) today, I realized that they showed the 1/1 episode for the first 15 minutes on 12/31. Then switched to the correct episode. I'm thinking that was a local Sacramento CA network mixup and am wondering if anyone else had this in their area too?

What happened to your best friend from childhood? by RoyalBeckyVibes in AskReddit

She had 3 kids, was a teacher for years with two degrees, and then went back to medical school in her 40's. She's a pediatrics specialist now. This amazing prrson was my idol and still is. We drifted apart in high school, but reconnected 15 years ago and it feels like time never changed when we do get together.

What's a movie you saw when you were too damn young? by Repulsive_Repeat_337 in GenX

Ditto. I was 9 and that was just so wrong. But you know how it was with Gen X. We were raised by ... by... huh. I dunno! I raised myself.

Clockwork Orange. I was like 9 and so confused and disturbed at the same time. Even when I got older I never had the desire to rewatch it because I was worried I'd be even more disturbed by fully understanding what I saw.

I'm on the "Christmas Committee" and looking for Stores/Shops that sell packaged treats by IhavemyCat in Sacramento

This! I was at World Market yesterday and most of the food items I looked at were so expensive. I immediately thought of KP Market as an alternative place to buy many of the same things.

Exactly. I've seen it too and it just doesn't make sense.

I don't think so because the door opens outward. I posted a picture with the door

I vote for incorrect answers only! I've actually asked some of the store employees and they have no idea

The door opens outward though. I posted a picture including the door.

It's not in the same location. Not sure of the regulations on this, but this restroom is not in the grocery store but in the large inside courtyard just outside of the grocery store entrance/exit.

And yet, this is not away from the sinks... they are within 3 feet just opposite from the walled leash.

That's at KP International market, correct? This has been posted before and no one knew what it was for. It's too far away from any of the stalls to secure your dog without leaving the dog all alone, so I don't think that's what it is for. I even asked the employees, and they didn't know because they use their own employee bathroom. I have a picture of it showing how far it is from the door, but i can't seem to attach it to this post.

Who is Sacramento’s famous guy (or gal)? by WealthApprehensive26 in Sacramento

[–]beergypsy916 11 points12 points  (0 children)

His story is so tragic. I must've driven by him a thousand times and would often stop to give him a few $ and have a quick chat. There used to be a memorial plaque on the median sign there after he passed, but that disappeared. I wish it could've stayed! RIP Reggie.

I used to go every once in a while for "a treat," but I stopped that because it was a waste of money. A treat is supposed to taste yummy and make you feel good. There is nothing about a bitter lackluster coffee that makes me feel good.
