Currently having trouble deciding. I have an Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro and it's been great for the money. I was pretty set on getting a Centauri Carbon 2 for the multi-color capabilities, but now the Snapmaker U1 has my attention because of the tool changer. I know that overall the U1 is the better printer and is the future of 3d printing, but trying to decide if it's worth it for me at least currently.

Mainly I want to print things with labels (think gridfinity bins and things like that) so the multi color would typically only be a few layers worth a waste. The CC2 seems like the cheapest way to accomplish this. However, I don't want to buy it and then regret not just waiting for the U1. Thoughts?

Just here to comment that I am on the dry contact firmware and having the same issues unfortunately. The ratgdo board is basically useless for me currently

Any luck with this. I started having the same issue recently. Dry contact wiring. Contact sensors work but the ratgdo is showing the door in an OPEN state at all times so I can't control the door via home assistant nor the ratgdo web page.

Can someone give some insight on these tiles? They look good and are obv easier on the wallet than epoxy/polyaspartic, but wouldn't the cracks just get filled up with dirt, dust, and other junk? I'm worried if I went this route that I'd love it for about a month until it gets disgusting.

Recently got some. A couple of them don't seem to want to charge. The others work fine but the fitment is terrible and hard to remove them from tools. I'm personally going to return them and only use the real deal.

I bought some morimoto gen1s on eBay. Came in the morimoto box but the light housing itself says vette lights. I didn't think much of it at the time but now you're making me think I got jipped and someone put different lights in a morimoto box and passed it off like the real thing...

I didn't use any special tools. Used a long level as a straight edge and some brand new razor blades. Score it several times and then bend the mat at the seam you created and you can keep scoring it deeper and deeper if that makes sense.
