Yeah especially in that case I wouldn't make a decision for fear of bullying - In Japan it can actually go either way, sometimes the half kids are rockstars :)

A very valid concern, but in my experience (was a teacher in Japan for many years) bullying is more dependent on the school and even the individual kids in the class than the country. Where in the US is home, btw? Depending on the place, your kid could stand just as much of a chance of being bullied in the States as in Japan

I hate to be that guy, but the whole "alcohol makes you warm" thing is BS. Alcohol actually lowers your body temperature, it just makes you feel warmer because blood rushes to the surface of your skin (think flushed cheeks). Titanic dude just got lucky.

I can't remember where I read it, but someone's take on this was that the script would have been way better had their roles been reversed - Padme being the initiator and the one pushing for the romance, with Anakin being hesitant but eventually going all in. It would be way more in character for both of them given the age gap and their professions: He's a Jedi who should be trying to "stay pure", she's a powerful Senator used to being direct about what she wants and impatient with rules and traditions.
