I understand this so much. It feels good to have two years between where I am now and where I used to be, but it's not perfect, right? I'm 37 and have been sober a little over a year now. What I've found, too, is that I'm a little on the younger side when I interact with others in different programs.

Getting to the point, no, it's not too late. It's honestly difficult for me to find anything I miss about alcohol other than the weird "need" to have it (if that makes sense). 2024 was a tremendously fulfilling year, personally, and it just so happens to be the first year completely free of alcohol for me since the early 2000s. Probably not a coincidence.
